Heh - It's better to ask forgiveness...
When I bought my XbX and C2, the wife told me that I had to buy the game for the next three years so I would get good use out of my purchases...DARN!
But then, after 35 years of marriage, we give each other a lot of leeway. -
Let us know if you feel like playing on Xbox is really an advantage when it comes to timing windows and that sort of thing. I've heard people saying this many times, but I value your input over most of them for various reasons. Please let us know after a week or so!

I'm really curious as well. I did buy it to play some Xbox-only games with my son, so it wasn't just an MLBTS purchase.
Keep in mind that I'm a "mid-tier" player. Temper your expectations
But - I think my hand/eye coordination is still at a place where I'll be able to see a difference or not. If I don't see any difference, I'll blame it on Xfinity.

I don't know if you can still do it, but it is possible to get 3 years of game pass for the price of a year - or something like that. You buy 3 years of Xbox Live Gold and then convert it to Game pass for $1. Here is a link on how to do it:

Congrats on the impulse buy. I hate when they put the Xbox consoles next to the gum, snickers, and people magazine. Just can't resist. I definitely notice a difference in gameplay over ps5. Hitting just seems so much easier on Xbox.

Are you using the stock controller or did you get a wired one? It helped me to not look at the letters on the buttons and just picture the button layout of the dualsense. They may be named something different but they are all in the same place and perform the same functions.

Using "stock" right now, but ordered a wired one. It will take a while to get used to the left stick position.
