I’ve got one no one will get. Who was the first IF to join the 30/30 club? Hint: he’s friggin awesome

Hint this IF made the club three times. He and a teammate also were the first and only to ever be in the club as teammates in the same season

Howard Johnson it is! The teammate was definitely Straw. I loved watching HoJo at the plate back in the day! Switch hitter and threat at the dish and on the base paths. He struck out what was considered a lot at the time but in today’s game you wouldn’t even bat an eye about those strikeout numbers

Which pitcher holds the record for the most strikeouts in a single season and how many

Follow up. Name all the teams he pitched for over his indomitable career in chronological order. I won’t ask for the years but I know them

You are correct. Who did he pass to become the all time single season record holder for strikeouts? And how many did that person have?

It's from back in the day when men were men and pitched well over 300 innings in a season. In a 4 man rotation to boot.

That was it then. Duh. Sandy Koufax. That game seven call was the first time I heard Vin Scully refer to a change up as a “Soap bubble”
