You know it's frustrating when the umpires make bad strike calls that gave a no hitter to a pitcher. Not legit imo.

Fun fact: Lorenzen is the 4th pitcher from Fullerton Union High School to make the majors, all 4 have thrown a no no.

Cry about it. Go back and watch during the early part of the game and see all the “strike” calls he gave to the Nats that were actually balls…it happens every game to both teams.

How can you not love this
It was a hell of a night for my Phillies. Lorenzen no hitter, Weston Wilson’s first career big league AB he hits a home run with family in the stands (dad ended up in tears) and Nick Castellanos hits career homers 199 and 200 with his son in the stands…what a night!

No Hitters are special. Was lucky enough to attend the Tyler Gilbert No-No a couple of years ago.

Incredibly special. In the 154 years of Major League Baseball history, and over 235,500 games played there have been 322 no-hitters total and this was the 14th for the Phillies. It incredibly special and to have seen one in person….I’m so jealous!
