Completed Live Series for only the 2nd time in the last few years I think.
I won't use Jeter or Sosa much if at all but I have my A's collection complete so I'm excited to have this goal checked off.

Not really but I try and use some of the better cards at least to give them some love.
I always have Rickey leading off and Eck in my bullpen and at least 1 SP. I've used others as a theme in offline but I'm not good enough to play ranked with anything less than a 99 squad.

Mookie is my last NL and AL I have degromm, judge, and ohtani left to go. I’ve saved up around 75k stubs and decided I’d just keep saving and buy Betts first so I can at least have Sosa…even though it’s that McGwire that I’m dreaming about lol

Mookie is my last NL and AL I have degromm, judge, and ohtani left to go. I’ve saved up around 75k stubs and decided I’d just keep saving and buy Betts first so I can at least have Sosa…even though it’s that McGwire that I’m dreaming about lol
Best of luck bud, it's the Wagner thats the real prize out of the AL West in my opinion especially if you can’t get the one out of the Extreme program. I havn't liked McGwire's swing this year. Sosa is great though and Jeter is amazing and i still use that card a lot for team builds.
I'm now 75 cards away from having everything, going after the Baez card because, A. I'm a Cubs fan and must eventually have all of their cards, and B. because it gets me closer to Matt Cain in the Extreme program.

Oh I wanted to ask you about what’s needed in order for me to acquire that Billy Wagner card that’s one I gotta have I always love his approach on the mound…he didn’t pussyfoot, oh no sir…he pitched like ‘here it is boys, try and hit it!’ Man he came right at them with it didn’t he
I know it’s extreme reward but how should I go about it

Do the conquest and just take your time with it, that gives you 25 points, then just do the perfect game (it may take a few tries but it's one of the easier moments) and then the Billy Wagner 7 games (they are all 1 inning long) that gives you 35 points and Billy Wagner

I'm about to complete Extreme. I bought the three collection cards which gave a huge boost. Did conquest, Completed Wagner mission and I am about to complete Marte. Cain is three games away. Didn't even bother with most of the moments. Only did the easy Griffey and the multiple game ones. It is very easy to complete this program as just an average player. Which is nice.

Yup, once i get to 500k today and get Baez i'll have 95 points. Conquest done, Piazza 15 HR's done, Wagner 10 Saves done, + the collection and the Wagner, Griffey Jr, Soto, and perfect game. This was a surprisingly fun program.

I just completed the Live Series last week as well. I wasn't in a rush as the rewards weren't all that great for me. Jeter, Sammy and Mark are ok, but there are much better options at all 3 positions.

Congrats! I hope you enjoy the Big Mac card. The crazy thing is last night I finished the NL. I needed the Dodgers, Mets, and Cardinals. I saw the price on Arenado and Goldy so that was easy, bought some of the silver and golds for the Dodgers and Mets. I was sitting at 18k in stubs, I said screw it I'm going to buy a 10-pack bundle, which I never do, this was the first one I have bought all year.
I pull one diamond, it is blue and I get excited, out comes Sean Murphy. Oh well, I think, between that card and some of the gold cards and jerseys I have made my stubs back. So I open my silver pack. The card is blue. I have heard of people getting diamonds from silver packs but I have never had it happen. So I flip the card and the color is teal. Now I'm thinking this has to be something good. Out walks Mookie. I'm beyond stunned. I could sell him, but there aren't really any cards I want right now, or I could sell 3 cards I don't use much and finish the Dodgers and buy Diaz to finish the Mets.
So I sold the 3 cards and now I have Sosa. I need the Yankees, Rangers, and Angels to complete the AL, so that might take a bit, but it will be fun trying out this Sosa. Sorry for the novel!

I’ve opened about a million packs still waiting for Diaz and Betts. The McGwire card was severely lackluster it felt like a bad Tops card.
