No more Extreme please

I will say the conquest was the most fun I’ve had grinding offline in a long time and I’ve really enjoyed the mini seasons so far. It’s not easy to get challenged by the AI in any game. Madden, 2k, MLB.. you can always dominate the CPU. This is actually a little challenging and fun.
I won’t touch the moments or showdown though. I hate moments and showdowns are just glorified moments.
If they made showdowns count PXP for the players you use like in BR, I’d probably feel a lot better about playing them.

My issue with the delay is that there is a good chance my already miniscule playtime is cut even more come Sept. Just too many other games I want to play coming out.
I understand not everyone wants to, or does complete all of the programs but why wouldn't people even want to attempt Extreme?
I am not what anyone would consider an average player, much worse TBH, but I will still complete every aspect of the Extreme program (Showdown, Conquest, Moments, & Mini) because I like to be challenged. I could complete it just by playing Mini on AS a bunch of times but there is no real challenge doing that IMO.

Not my cup of tea I do every other program but this one is too difficult for me and I accept that so I wish something else minor was available I am just asking for Topps now on Friday

If you can beat the CPU on AS, then you can finish Extreme. It'll take a while but no one said it has to be done in a specific time limit.

This one is actually really watered down compared to the first one i ever did in 2019, there was no repeat of PXP and the conquest map was more difficult than then one (i actually love the set up for the conquest map this year) and we didn't have mini seasons to get vouchers from.
I believe a lot more than 5% will complete it. It won't be quickly but there are easy ways to finish it. They're time consuming but much easier.
Ok thats fair, my only point was that extreme should be hard not something to be done quickly.
Honestly, I feel it was too easy and this isn't a brag, but I did it pretty easily within the weekend (I'm not a world series player). It really just takes patience and a little strategy. They even have a way to buy some points with stubs with the events collection. I didn't even touch mini seasons vouchers to do it either and skipped the perfect game and Soto moments because I suck on legend. IMO too large of a percent of the player base just wants to log on and be handed things meant to take awhile and then complain there isn't enough content. This year's extreme gave a lot of options to complete it.

It is difficult enough that with my skill level it will frustrate me. I don't want to be frustrated for hours on end.

Honestly, while the Griffey card is nice, I don't feel like the rewards are worth the time and potential frustration to get them.

I don't bother. I like a challenge too but these just aren't fun. I've found the moments and showdowns this year a little too easy and figured that was their way of easing the ridiculousness of expiring cards but these are too far the other direction that I find them not enjoyable enough to deal with the shenanigans that come with moments and showdowns. Especially when, since 4 days after release, its was way to easy to build an awesome squad of 90 and up players, who needs the headache for similar cards to what we already have. SDS really needs to find an even keel next year for game modes and rewards.

Yeah, unfortunately this forum isn’t too great at providing help. It’s more about voicing your opinion and then either being supported or attacked depending on what side of the fence you appear to be on. Once you get to Griffey you will love him, boosted by Cal he gets so much better.

you know mate perhaps you are right in that my attitude is shorter these days on forums - it just seems like such a large majority are absolutely out of their minds
i always appreciated your posts and still do - the essence of my last post to that guy was to say that i am not creating threads on this forum going on about what i think should be removed because i don't like the content or the delivery of the content
the same stuff is happening with diablo4 where you have an annoying fanbase crying about this and that - the devs cater and the latest patch is worse than before to cater to the whining masses
