Why cant i use specific cards online? Well i played someone who was using the same cards i was denied using. Like wtf is going on? To be specific, i tried using my Carlos Santana card and was denied, so i jump into an online game just to see my opponent using the same [censored] card i tried using a 100 times. This game is literally starting to not make sense anymore

You theoretically can only use Set 2 and Set 3 players in season 3 with one exception being the wildcard spot. Apparently people have found a way around it but I don't know the details.
You can put Santana into the Wildcard spot and continue to use him, but you only have a single wildcard spot so he would be the only set 1 player you could use.

You got to read the fine print. Using specific cards requires you to pay an additional fee monthly. Sorry bro.
