I just played a game on my hotspot to see for myself how bad it is for the people with 10MBPS (what most people have in the DR) and it was really bad, it sucked a lot for me and I was the home team, I can only imagine how bad my opponent had it. I’m confused though, shouldn’t that have made your experience better and easier to hit?

It’s not obvious this goes against everything demise has said. Terrible connection = slow pitch softball speeds, easier to hit, that’s why top players are top players. It sounds like with this that having a terrible connection was a terrible experience. So which is it? Like I said the other day, you guys need to get together and get your stories straight

Just like always you leave stuff out. I said connections that only allow them to connect to servers close to them and their internet is bad enough where they don't connect to other servers.
I highly doubt pitching_rebel rarely, if ever, gets connected to a server other than Florida. Yes, Florida internet sucks.
Maybe @iBonafideScrub_ played someone with worse internet. You need a larger sample size than 1 game. I would ask him to play at least 10 games. For some reason, I have got challenge failed the last handful of times I have tried mobile hotspot. If I remember correctly @iBonafideScrub_ doesn't get that many bad connection games, only midwest, DR and PR. I would like to see the people that said they have experienced worse game play since switching to better internet to try it.

Sure sure, but let's not talk about the REAL issue regarding all this which is undeniably the terrible SDS netcode and infrastructure. I don't understand why people like you can't simply admit that. It won't undo all your arguments aginst demise or me and nobody will think less of you. People might actually gain some respect for you for being able to cut through the bullsh*t and point out the painfully obvious. I would certainly be one of them.

It just is.

There’s a lot of validity to feelings of concern when a random person on the internet messages you with “where are you from?” Especially because the preceding message was most likely something passive aggressive along the lines of “wish I didn’t have to face warp pitch speeds” just because you agree with a madman doesn’t make it any less weird.

I came here only to say that Demise is right to complain about the state of networking infrastructure when it comes to this franchise and that it's pathetic how these buffoons jump his throat on every opportunity just because he brings up the same issue over and over again.

I'm sure he's able but don't use events as proof lol, I have been a top the events leader boards multiple times in the past and every time someone brings it up to flatter me I cringe because it literally means nothing.
you remind me of Mitch in a way - always downplaying great accomplishments - you say it means nothing and in reality you are correct in that ALL OF THIS means nothing - this is a videogame world to begin with - so i hear you it does mean nothing in the grand scheme of things - that all being said, what you and Skep have done and do are great accomplishments compared to the average MLB gamer

SDS network infrastructure is really bad. I side with Demise on a lot of things regarding this topic, the only thing I disagree is streamers seeing slow softball speeds.
But I have experienced warping speeds, varying timing windows, input being delayed due to high latency. I advocate for a ping based matchmaking, let the dudes with 10MBPS play against themselves.

SDS network infrastructure is really bad. I side with Demise on a lot of things regarding this topic, the only thing I disagree is streamers seeing slow softball speeds.

with all due respect Raes - Skepple for years has been literally one of the best players in the world - to say his reputation is not as good as some others is insane - Skep is in the 1% of performance - i remember years past seeing him overall number 1 in events - we have known each other for years - you included

The multiplayer in this game has always sucked it’s ridiculous that each game has unique timing windows it’s always going to be trash until they get off peer 2 peer.

I accept that your wording is more accurate, but you still were able to infer his message and still chose to keep doing it in a way that I can't read as anything other than condescendingly. That's was my point.
