Yes, I'm a Yankees fan and Ricky Henderson was on the team for a minute, but I can't say I've ever gravitated towards his cards besides being on my bench to steal bases.

With that being said, his Captain card is playing out of his mind for me. Dude hits for power, contact, and can steal any base with ease. Dude is a rockstar for me

Anyone else have a card that pleasantly surprised them?

Last year, it was Kris Bryant. All versions of his cards were great for me

The set 1 99 Rickey is far and away my best. The set 2 Patrick Bailey (Topps Now I think?) rakes for me as well. He's been my starting C since I got him.

Rickey was a Yankee for more than a hot minute. They’re his second longest tenured team from the 9 he played on. Just seems like it because he played so long and for so many teams.

Captain Charlie Blackmon. He always makes me pay in Play Vs. Computer games, but he's been nuts for me. I finally figured out his swing because I've always done terrible with him.
There are others, but I've used so many lineups for Programs, that I know I left out some good ones that shocked me.

EDIT: Willie Calhoun and Dom Smith Classics cards are downright illegal!!!

All the Dee Gordon cards get on base like 80% of the time for me. I’ve never used him in Rs. I gotta give him a tryout.

Jackson Holliday, Corbin Caroll, I usually don’t like FS cards but man they are destroyers of works. And I don’t have Carroll’s All Star Card yet but I know it’ll be insane

He’s a 99, but 99 HRD Randy has been really good for me. He doesn’t seem to be a fan favorite, but 50k for a rare round card is awesome! You can get him for free you if you him from the All Star Program pack.

Larkin rips was the moniker of 21. Maybe we can make this happen. I’m also starting to really like Yount who I never hit well with.

@SchnauzerFace_MLBTS - you heard it here. Your boy Yount is solid. Mustache and all.

I usually do well with Vlad Jr cards, but for whatever reason I’m not clicking with him this year. Decided on Randy and don’t regret it. His cardart is pretty sweet as well!

    That Kosuke Konsah (?) card.
I've never hit a single with him. It's either a home run or a double/triple.

    Good call for a post-

Sammy Sosa and I have been clicking lately and that feels weird. I’m not a Cub hater but I definitely have Nl ever been a Sammy fan.

That's what's fun about this game. You learn about players that you may not have known much about. I knew the name Jimmie Foxx but if you are alive today, he was before your time, so I didn't know much about him. Hands down he is my favorite card in the game year after year. This is certainly not the best version of his card yet and I'm still hitting about 450 with at least 100 homeruns.
