I am in the middle of the Future Stars program, which has a repeatable for every 2,500 PXP. I have 165 left of the 2,500, and then the counter stops until the next game. I need less than 100 PXP for three position players and 110 for an RP. The next game I play, I will quit after I get the 165 and the pitcher hits 110. There’s no reason to keep playing after the 165, so I’ll quit, adjust my lineup if needed, and then begin another game.

The data for the scorecard spreadsheet is generated from the API database. To use it, I hit one key as I play to record what happened, and the spreadsheet does the rest. This way, I know when to quit and begin the next round.

Yeah, you wouldn't need a spreadsheet if you aren't going to play the game for the next 6-8 months and come back to only play with Core, Set 1 and Set 2 cards.

This post was definitely not intended for you! 😀

No one cares about WS in this thread, so that is the dumbest thing to attempt a flex here! The spreadsheet has nothing to do about making WS, but of course you wouldn't know that because you aren't bright enough to figure out what is being discussed here. This thread requires a few brain cells, in which you lack, to understand this conversation.

lol he’s not writing out Bill James equations…He’s tracking program points so he can do the minimum grinding needed…Buddy said brain cells lol

He probably would have completed the program faster had he just played & not wasted time trying to feel smart.

For someone who is not going to be playing the game for 6-8 months, just to come back to play with cards from the first few months of the game, you sure are worrying way too much how others play the game offline.

Most people who do not play the game (or will quit in a few days) would generally find a number of other things to do and not worry about the way people play the game that you are not playing.

Yes, I literally have every card I want right now. There is no card I am waiting for or need. So no, I am choosing to not run on a hamster wheel for equal or lesser cards than what I already have. I will instead choose to spend my time playing new games. That’s just how I feel. You obviously feel differently & that’s fine - you do you….As far as it bothering you that I’m still on the forum, Don’t worry , I’ll be out of your hair on the 7th.

This isn’t for me, but Bleeder is as good of a guy as is out there and has created something that he utilizes and is graciously sharing for anyone that wants it. Can’t figure out how anyone can react negatively to him offering this to others

I owned a small Accounting firm and I loved my spreadsheets. You are an artist and this is work of art.

It seems a bit excessive but do you man. The spreadsheet itself is pretty impressive. Props to you.

listen many of us will agree with how much of a waste of time it is - TO US - let this guy have his fun, he is clearly smart and organized, there is something to be said about someone who is passionate & intelligent - much better than the constant drivel up in this forum from a bunch of L Seven Weineys

I appreciate all the comments in this thread. For you young’uns I can see how you’d feel this is a waste of time, but for this old retired guy who spent over 30 years making analytical spreadsheets, this is a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the game at a different level. I don’t do this to make my gameplay better (because I’m not that good, to begin with). When I made my first spreadsheet for the game a few years ago, it was because I was tired of going back to the program screen to see where I was and what I had to do next. With this, I can keep playing and forget the program page, because all of the info is at my fingertips as I play.

If you think these two tabs are a waste of time, you should watch my video of the whole spreadsheet… https://youtu.be/X5jrIVRoJyQ

Cheers - and enjoy the game.
