All Programs complete, still no where near sets being done

I just completed all of the TA program (finally) and I'm still about 40 cards short of completing Set 1, 30 cards short of Set 2, and 20 cards from Core Set.
Now, I do not play online, but I have played well about the assumed average hours of gameplay. Those programs are not quick.
With that being said, how am I supposed to complete these sets unless I buy stubs or play online? I was hoping that the program cards would line up with the sets, but I was wrong.
I'm really hoping the expectation is to complete all programs, playing online, and flip/buy stubs. That seems a bit excessive to me.

Do the other programs.. Topps now, player of the month, future stars, kaiju, incognito. That will make up most of the cards you need

ThanksI’m referring to the collections, set 1, 2, and core. Where you get Babe Ruth, Randy Johnson, etc

I’ve done all of them. That’s what I’m trying to say. And I’m still that far away…

What about the main programs for seasons 1 and 2? Did you get all the cards like Incognito Maddux?
I do think you will have to buy some of the cards off the market but for the most part they shouldn't cost more then 15k to 35k at worst.

Yeah you have to buy a bunch, but those theme packs that they released the base round ones reached 10k ( quick sell value) on every one of those packs for a time, that's how I did it.

Set 2 was much easier to complete than set 1. Many more cards were released. For set 1 I had to buy quite a few cards. Really hoping set 3 and beyond continues to offer numerous cards in programs so I don’t have to drop a ton of stubs on cards I don’t really want just to get a card I do.

Why would you think that? Sets include EVERY card released during the given period, not just the cards released for Other Programs.

The answer unfortunately is if you don't play events, ranked season, or BR you'll be short roughly 25-30 cards for each set unless you purchase them

I figured the sets would have 300 cards total, but only require 250 for the big 3 cards. The 50 difference would be the cards released only in packs.
I honestly don't know how people find the time to complete all the offline sets and the online stuff too. I'd like to think I play well above the average amount of hours, and I don't have that time. I'm also trash at online

Yes, I did know what you are speaking of. I guess I should have asked are you trying to get the Set 1 and 2 collections fully completed, as in Ruth, Pedro. and Chipper in Set 1. But reading further through the posts, I see that you are. Best of luck on everything and future set collections.
