I'll let you know in a week. If I go by his TA Captain card, I will be terrible with him.

Playing events with him and doing well so far, I’ll try him in ranked. I don’t think he will do well on HOF though

It’s all or nothing with Judge. If you can hit it he will crush it but with his vision being so low he doesn’t foul balls off and his swing timing is one of the worst in the game. Maybe I’m crazy but his swing seems slightly better with this card though. That being said I don’t think he’s the best card in the program and definitely not a top 3 right fielder.

Don’t have him yet, but he’s going to get a shot at replacing Sosa. Doing poorly with him.

I never understood why many of the really good hitters have sub par vision.

Schwarber was lauded for having a very good eye and yet SDS gives him 45 vision or something.

Schwarber wasn’t 6’7” with a slow swing. Mondesi didn’t have high vision but his swing was elite.

Strikeout rate and whiff rate plays a large part of the vision attribute.

Aaron Judge? Baseball Savant shows Judge being in the 13 percentile in strikeout rate! They also have him in the 3 percentile in whiff rate as well. This is the reason why he has low vision!

Kyle Schwarber? Baseball Savant has him in the 14 percentile in strikeout rate and in the 8 percentile for whiff rate. So, yeah, he has low vision as well!

Wander Franco is the real prize in the May Monthly. I wouldnt say Judge is bad but he isn't an end all card for me. He is no Matt Chapman.

He’s definitely not bad at all. I just think he deserved a much better card then what we got.

Well first of all I apologize because I just remembered he was a 98. For some reason I was thinking he was a 99. He had 107 contact vs right 125 vs left,65 power vs left 125 power vs left,53 vision,125 clutch and 99 speed. He was unreal.

I’m glad it wasn’t just me. It took me an embarrassing amount of ABs to finish his stat mission. I actually finished the entire TA1 for the AL East before I got his 3rd HR. I didn’t need the TA points at that point but I wasn’t willing to let that stupid card beat me.

Took me two hours to complete his moment of hitting 1 homer.

Ok, Trout is a great hittet, Ohtani is a great hitter. Both have average vision at best.

This is debatable to me. Based on strikeouts or whiff rate I would agree. However, Trout has and has historically had one of the best barrel percentages in baseball and a low chase rate. He also walks a lot. Those seem relevant to the concept of "vision".

The thing I find interesting is that these cards often limit vision for Trout, Judge and others, but when it comes to power stats they seem to be more forgiving.

I’ve been disappointed. I’ve never played well with his cards because the huge strike zone. I thought the Monthly Lightening would be better because of stats but no. Joe Mauer is sick though.

Really like to pull him. Outside of selling Mantle, which I got on a lucky pull, that's the only way I'm getting Joe.
