I'm absolutely OK with the fact that these things take time. As they should. It's just my opinion that this year in particular, acquiring decent cards and keeping up with everything takes far more time than it should.
If you are a serious grinder and this is up your wheelhouse, all the props in the world. Just doesn't seem like they gave much thought to the casual's who can't log 20+ hours a week. Could atleast bump up the packs/stubs along the way for those of us who likely wont finish. Something is better than nothing.
So do less to get the same or more reward than someone who does more? Lol trophies for everyone!!
Nah. You just shouldn't need to grind a thousand hours to get a 97 overall "Slick Nick" that is probably never going to be used.
Or, the rewards should simply be better if all this time is going into it.

I believe the phrase "beggars cant be choosers" most definitely applies here. This is a video game....something we do in our leisure time. We arent working for 2 dollars a day in a sweatshop here. We're given free stuff for PLAYING A GAME. Is it less than it used to be? I suppose maybe that's so. Is it still free? Yup.

Last year: We dont have enough to grind, we need more things to work for to keep playing, getting oring playing for nothing.
SDS inplements a wheelspin so earning XP actually matters, makes TA progression longer so people areactively always working towards somthing
This year: its to much to grind, its way to hard.

jonblaze is a nice guy but i agree with your take here - we are given tons of free packs and stub opportunities - there is 0 reason to complain about a grind - i believe there is an inverse relationship between amount of time playing a game vs. the enjoyment of it

I have no problem working hard. I've logged probably 20-30 hours into this TA program so far....and im under 45% in every division. It's a very helpless feeling for a game that I truly love. This morning alone I put about 2 hours of work in and all I had to show for it was a single Future Star pack and an Unlockable pack and maybe about 2k worth of stubs.
Truly baffling that they are really only catering to the Show player who can log 5-6 hours a day.
you must not be doing it right, get a max elevation stadium, load up on players from a certain team and pump away xp missions for teams.
Put it on the easiest setting possible…get a carnival stadium….play with only the players SDS tells you to play with. That just sounds exhilarating. I truly can’t believe so many people find that enjoyable.

Being 45% with 35ish days left in the season is basically putting you on pace to finish by Season 3.
The thing that sucks though, is these aren’t Core cards. So by the time you get a lot of these done, these cards will be on their way out. I would have no problem with this grind if these cards were Core.
If you finish by season 3, you'll still have a month or two to use them until season 4.
And im also of the belief that for the last season , all sets will be open to create the ultimate god squad.
Yeah it just sucks that you can only use them for one season.

Why do so many people feel the need to respond in these threads with snarky comments as if they are better or more intelligent than the OP....FYI it makes you look like an immature attention starved jacka$$.
To the OP, a lot of guys touched on it. Don't try and do them all at once. I started with the AL and NL East. Did the showdown (if you care to it helps a lot) then do the conquest related to it.
Any position not filled by a program player fill with a certain team and grind the team build.
With incognito take 2 batters for each division first as there are too many SP in the future stars and Captain programs to start an incognito pitcher. Once you get to the 3rd Incog pack you should be done with most captains and Future Stars so take a SP in each division and can easily grind the 1000xp with the incognito players for the easy 5000.
I already managed to finish all of TA2 this way and didn't have to do the last Captain in each. Fortunately there are plenty Nike City conquest maps when your done with TA conquest maps.

Am I the only one who decides that when a grind is too much for me I just don't do it? Nobody is forcing me or anyone else to complete them all.

I have absolutely no issues grinding for cards or with any of content that comes as a result of grinding. Some of the TA 1 cards in the West I had no desire for, so skipped it for now after I finished the Conquest and Showdown. Working on TA2 in the West now, both Easts are done. The only thing that sort of sucks is that to complete TA or Incognito or WBC or Kaiju, you need to use specific players. I hardly ever get to compete using my squad of favorite players. I know I can play Mini-Seasons to complete the TA, but after getting stuck so many times, I moved away from them. May give them a try again. I am not an online player, so I strictly play offline.
