If SDS bans any of use who took advantage of their stupidity, then it will cost them dearly.
Exploiting this is a clear violation of their terms of service. I say bring down the ban hammer.
Everyday I spend $20 on stubs and buy packs. I am trying to pull Trout to complete the LS collection so I can use my favorite player of all time. The Captain. I have a habit of quickselling all non Diamond cards because I don't have time to list them on the market. I get banned because a few of my commons quick sold for more than they usually. I am now banned...based on your understanding of exploitation of the market. Sound business judgement.

Slow down there!!!!!... You put way too much logic for all that follow the book "I don't break rules I am an honorable person" folks here. Lel.. inb4 more triggered

And again, not enforcing this would punish those who didn’t use the exploit due to market inflation, as well set a bad precedent for future exploits.
It would also punish those who slept in today I suppose. SDS should clean up their updates because every year they seem to have a big snafu like this. Last year it was allowing someone to have unlimited stubs who crashed the diamond market in early April. If they ban people for this they will ban a sizeable portion of their player base for what will probably equate to an average of 40k stubs "earned". Many of whom will not be repeat customers if it happens.

It would be up to SDS to decide where the line of exploitation is. But nice try with the Strawman.
Here’s an analogy for you. Counterfeiting the $20 bill suddenly becomes very tempting due to ease. Many people counterfeit as a result. The government decides not to punish the counterfeiters despite easily obtainable evidence because they pay taxes. Because no one was punished, next week the same thing happens with the $100 bill. Inflation increases significantly and those that followed the law are most negatively effected.

How did I force SDS to give me 9995 extra stubs for a common? How did I create these counterfeit currency? I was going to quick sell the cards this morning regardless of retail. The only realy exploiters bought up all the sell orders and sold them.

its way more then 100-200 people just saying. Its been on twitch all morning. This spread across the whole community.
How many people of the millions of sds customers do you think watches twitch all day long? You’re right it’s more than 200
But I’d say it evens out to about 1000
And I don’t think sds has an issue banning 1000 people- and that’s even saying every single one of the 1000 twitch viewers did it.
If half of them(500) did this I can see sds banning 500 ppl no problem
They know the banned customers are just going to start all over again and spend even more money anyway
Banned users can't just purchase the game again, they will be banned from online play for the rest of the year.
The only way around it is to purchase the console you weren't on before (PS/XBOX), buy the game, and create a new account.
It was easily thousands of people that did it. Just look at the buy now/sell now orders in the market.
I never said buy the game again- I said start over meaning they will start from scratch and if you think they are grinding from scratch and won’t buy stubs to get things done quicker then idk what to tell you
And if you think sds won’t ban 1000 people for making the company lose money then idk what to tell you either lol
Millions of people buy this game- banning 1000 wouldn’t hurt them at all
But as the kids say, “do you”…
Just something I wouldn’t do at all- this is something that sds would def ban ppl for because it makes them lose money and it’s in the tos “don’t exploit bugs”
You can't start from scratch on your console when you are banned. It's a console ban every time. It's a huge risk for both sides. Those quick selling cards, and SDS who may potentially destroy the game population for the rest of the year.
If I sell 10 common cards and get banned. I'm not buying an Xbox and another copy of the game. I'm just not playing the game the rest of the year.
Lol you don’t get console banned- you get account banned.
Console banned might be for multiple infractions.
It's absolutely console banned for market manipulation. I followed multiple streamers who got the ban hammer last year for this type of thing. One guy bought an Xbox and STILL couldn't play online until this year. (Big Tom)
It's not worth the risk either way IMO.
Sounds like you are describing an account ban.
I'm old enough and smart enough to know what I'm talking about bud. I'm also not here to convince some random guy on the internet.
Simply a warning that I don't believe it's worth the risk. But you do you!
Why mention that the streamer even bought an XBox? What relevance would that have if it was a console ban?
because....stay with me here quick draw...the streamer played on a playstation and his console was banned for market manipulation. Hell, go to his channel and ask him. He's live right now.
Okay genius...
"One guy bought an Xbox and STILL couldn't play online until this year."
If it was a console ban. He could have played on his new XBOX. If it was an account ban and he tried to use his account from PS on his new console it wouldn't work. If the guy had an IQ above 100 he would have created a new account instead of trying to see if a new console would work and then waiting a whole year.
OK Genius, he was a playstation user prior to the ban. Again, feel free to hop on his channel and ask him. BigTomK, streams every morning on youtube.
I'm sorry you were wrong, it's ok to be wrong, certainly don't keep up the argument, just move on with your day.

It is clear you are not intellectually honest or don't understand the difference between console bans and account bans. Either way it is not my problem. I don't watch Twitchers but I would certainly not watch one you recommend. Either way it's not my problem.

Your car is out of gas as you pull up to the station. Gas usually sells for $5.99 per gallon but today the sign says $0.59. The sign on the door says after hours pay at the pump. The pump does not allow you to pay more than $0.59 per gallon. You leave your car and start walking home with your head held high.
I see you walking and I swerve towards a puddle to splash you as I laugh.

Its not that Deep imo. This is more along the lines where you went to ATM and instead of $100 that you requested from ATM it dispersed you $500. You did not steal or counterfeit anything instead you were given an extra $400 due to ATM's dispersing glitch. Banks eventually finds the error and your account gets debited the difference.
This happened with FIFA numerous times over the years everything just gets reverted back no one gets banned. Difference with SDS they don't have the budget or the manpower that EA has to handle something like this. Meaning most likely scenario they just fix the glitch and we move on.

Except there was a sign on the ATM saying not to use it because of the error (TOS).

Your analogies need work.
You also seem very defensive. I never said you should be banned or what the bar is for exploiting a bug. Guilty conscience perhaps?
Your arguments have centered around the fact that you’re a customer and it’s a tempting and easy exploit. Well, so are the people that chose not to use the exploit and a lack of self control isn’t much of a defense.

If exploiting a bug is a ban then surely they would have to ban everyone using the Ohtani glitch in ranked
