I've said it before and I'll say it again. Their code is held together by duck tape, paper clips, and a prayer.
They should have used COBOL and an AS/400. That would be bulletproof.

As a VERY old guy, I’ve worked with an As/400!!
As another old guy, I am currently managing a project to decommission an AS400 that runs a bunch of Cobol scripts.

And I don’t think sds has an issue banning 1000 people- and that’s even saying every single one of the 1000 twitch viewers did it.
If half of them(500) did this I can see sds banning 500 ppl no problem
They know the banned customers are just going to start all over again and spend even more money anyway
Banned users can't just purchase the game again, they will be banned from online play for the rest of the year.
The only way around it is to purchase the console you weren't on before (PS/XBOX), buy the game, and create a new account.
It was easily thousands of people that did it. Just look at the buy now/sell now orders in the market.
I never said buy the game again- I said start over meaning they will start from scratch and if you think they are grinding from scratch and won’t buy stubs to get things done quicker then idk what to tell you

If I sell 10 common cards and get banned. I'm not buying an Xbox and another copy of the game. I'm just not playing the game the rest of the year.

I spent too much time/money in this game to get banned for making some extra stubs from a glitch

If SDS doesn’t punish those using this exploit, it will act as punishment to those that did not use it in the form of market inflation. Not enforcing the TOS is not a good precedent to set for future exploits either.

I think in general (at least myself) many folks may not even give a hoot if they get kicked or not (for all the reasons that many have already stepped away for this early).

Not that SDS will follow suite of EA, but there were several exploits on the EA side that greatly affected the market such as UL packs giving LTD's every pull. They didn't do anything to those that exploited that glitch.

Why mention that the streamer even bought an XBox? What relevance would that have if it was a console ban?

The most surprising part to me isn't that SDS made a significant mistake when trying to push a minor update. It's that they have left it up ALL day. You would think at the very least they would take the app offline with server maintenance while they figure out what they did wrong.

It’s SDS’s mistake, they shouldn’t punish someone for a mistake they made. They should just fix it and move on, because if it’s in packs and people are quick selling, it’s not the consumers fault,
