It’s SDS’s mistake, they shouldn’t punish someone for a mistake they made. They should just fix it and move on, because if it’s in packs and people are quick selling, it’s not the consumers fault,

How many people of the millions of sds customers do you think watches twitch all day long? You’re right it’s more than 200
But I’d say it evens out to about 1000
And I don’t think sds has an issue banning 1000 people- and that’s even saying every single one of the 1000 twitch viewers did it.
If half of them(500) did this I can see sds banning 500 ppl no problem
They know the banned customers are just going to start all over again and spend even more money anyway
Banned users can't just purchase the game again, they will be banned from online play for the rest of the year.
The only way around it is to purchase the console you weren't on before (PS/XBOX), buy the game, and create a new account.
It was easily thousands of people that did it. Just look at the buy now/sell now orders in the market.
I never said buy the game again- I said start over meaning they will start from scratch and if you think they are grinding from scratch and won’t buy stubs to get things done quicker then idk what to tell you
And if you think sds won’t ban 1000 people for making the company lose money then idk what to tell you either lol

Just something I wouldn’t do at all- this is something that sds would def ban ppl for because it makes them lose money and it’s in the tos “don’t exploit bugs”
You can't start from scratch on your console when you are banned. It's a console ban every time. It's a huge risk for both sides. Those quick selling cards, and SDS who may potentially destroy the game population for the rest of the year.
If I sell 10 common cards and get banned. I'm not buying an Xbox and another copy of the game. I'm just not playing the game the rest of the year.

It's absolutely console banned for market manipulation. I followed multiple streamers who got the ban hammer last year for this type of thing. One guy bought an Xbox and STILL couldn't play online until this year. (Big Tom)
It's not worth the risk either way IMO.

I'm old enough and smart enough to know what I'm talking about bud. I'm also not here to convince some random guy on the internet.
Simply a warning that I don't believe it's worth the risk. But you do you!

100%. I don't THINK selling current inventory will get a ban. But if dudes are buying 15 stubb cards and quick selling for 1K before others realized what was going on? They're gone.

Okay genius...

If it was a console ban. He could have played on his new XBOX. If it was an account ban and he tried to use his account from PS on his new console it wouldn't work. If the guy had an IQ above 100 he would have created a new account instead of trying to see if a new console would work and then waiting a whole year.

I quick sold a low overall today for 1k stubs and I thought it was weird. Didn't know it was a glitch. I just sold 1 and tried to sell it for normal buy now but it wouldn't let me. I better not get banned for 1 QS of a card LOL

SDS is not EA. EA will give you a warning, SDS just bans you.

I remember maybe 2016 or so there was a moss glitch that gave everyone 99 Christmas moss for free. They just went well those that did it keep him sorry if you didn’t

And again, not enforcing this would punish those who didn’t use the exploit due to market inflation, as well set a bad precedent for future exploits.

I have a habit of quickselling all non Diamond cards because I don't have time to list them on the market. I get banned because a few of my commons quick sold for more than they usually. I am now banned...based on your understanding of exploitation of the market. Sound business judgement.

It would also punish those who slept in today I suppose. SDS should clean up their updates because every year they seem to have a big snafu like this. Last year it was allowing someone to have unlimited stubs who crashed the diamond market in early April. If they ban people for this they will ban a sizeable portion of their player base for what will probably equate to an average of 40k stubs "earned". Many of whom will not be repeat customers if it happens.
