Got my first Chase pack and got Mickey Mantle

It was in a 15 pack of cards from the TA2 Mini Season championship bundle. Mantle came up and now I am stuck between keeping him (I already finished the AL East TA2) or selling him for big stubs and getting cards to get to 260 in S1. I have about 220 cars there now.
I am leaning to keeping him because it might be months before I can buy him. I think the buy now was around 350,000 this morning.

Congrats on the pull. I'd try him out and if you're good with him then keep him. He's the consensus best card in the game and it doesn't sound like anyone else is all that close.

If you sell; wait for the stub sale
Good advice. I don't pay much attention to stub sales because I never buy stubs but those sales do affect the market.

Congrats, but you didn't get Mickey Mantle, you got some guy named the Commerce Comet that nobody has ever heard of. Great stats and worth a lot of stubs though. If you want to sell you may need to do so asap. You never know, they might make chase pack pulls non sellable next update.

Hands down the best card in the game. CF is locked down.

I’m happy for you. I’ve opened probably 30 chase packs this season and they were all 85 diamonds. I’m glad you got him my guy. It’s nice to know someone got something out of these packs. Between the flash sales and chase packs, I’ve gotten bare minimum every single time

You are correct! And I never heard the name Commerce Comet before. Tim Raines, The Rock, yes.

I hadn't had the stubs to buy the 50 packs and get a guaranteed Chase pack. Now that I finally finished the live collection maybe I can but there are so many cards to buy to complete set 1 and 2.
I've opened a lot of packs since the first day and finally the Chase pack came up. I had kind of forgotten they were a possibility in a regular pack.

I’d certainly keep him, if you were say 15 cards away and truly wanted babe or whomever is your last pick then maybe yeah. 40 cards away and selling mantle would bet you 15 cards assuming 300k and 20k per card.

I also just pulled him, don’t know if I want to sell or keep him . Within 2 season I won’t be able to use him in my lineup.

Chipper is the best card for me, I suck with Mantle cards and this is a big reason I prefer Chipper’s
