I'm so sick of seeing Bob [censored] Gibson.

Sadly every year it’s some guy, Randy last year, degrom and Edward Cabrera 21 and kluber before. Idk if bob has always been this good and just released too late or what but yeah not fun seeing 103 and a straight change which is so much harder to hit imo vs a circle

This is the best Gibson card I have seen. I agree it gets a bit old like Randy, DeGrom, Cabrera, etc. from previous years, but I am glad there finally is a card that represents who he was. I’ve always felt he should have the top pitching card or at least one of the top ones and it has never been this way.

I mean he was a free pitcher, so until season 3 comes out or people start to get other pitchers for free, you’re going to see him.

Every year has it's guy, Kershaw, Kluber, E. Cabrera...now it's Gibby

My problem with him specifically is his fast ball lags . It jumps lags or something.
Part of it is the game though. Hitting is basically trying to not swing at dirt balls and catch up to fastball that aren't painted in a corner. Rinse repeat.

Bro I’m with ya. I only play 2-3 RS games a night and guarantee he’s starting one of them. I just quit cuz I don’t care about losses. My only concern is….”will I enjoy this game I’m about to play”. If Gibson is pitching, I won’t.

Bob Gibson for me is easy to hit but the pitcher who has pitch speeds that seem faster than 104 are hunter brown.. I can hit him but it’s tough

Pitch speeds are too high and timing windows are too small.
With pitchers who throw in the mid-90s, I don’t try to guess or remember patterns. I just read the pitch and react.
But anyone throwing 100+ is pretty much unhittable for me if the user mixes well.

Same for me. I really have to sell out of the fastball and someone who can mix things well will take advantage of that.
