When is the 40 man roster for every year going to be 100% correct
-
These guys are also missing from the mariners roster and they are on the 40
Kendall Graveman
Zac Grotz
Jake FraleyAlso Dom Thompson-Williams isn’t on the 40 and he isn’t playing in the majors so I don’t understand his % in the game and Lewis % is so low
And Carlos Gonzales isn’t on the 40 he sign a minor league contracts so put him on the mariners minor league roster and keep him off of the 40 and add the real players that are actually on the 40 man roster that is messing
Also far the game actually sucks
I give roster f game play f graphics A+ -
Then go away.

not surprised there are errors considering they had to guess at roster spots when they didn't finish spring training.

Look at this...a rational thought. I like it.
God forbid anyone cut them some slack for not being 100% sure how rosters would shake out since...you know...super aids.

That would be ownership and upper managements fault ... Mariners have been the worst run pro franchise for decades now...

Who knows

Sadly we won’t know the 40 man rosters. And the show won’t either. Since teams still have spring training rosters. And with the mlb freezing rosters moves at this time. We all in limbo.

Really appreciate your well thought out review at the end there.
-
I don’t think any are the actual 40 man roster. Unless your talking about franchise, then it should be correct to start your season so I agree there.

Why are they guessing? There might be a couple of spots here or there where someone might have emerged, but it's not as bad as their current rosters. I mentioned the other day about this Avelino dude from the Giants. There was no way he was beating out Brandon Crawford for the starting SS spot. There are other examples, as well.
Also, no need to guess when MLB has actual 40-man rosters all year long. Maybe the situation with CarGo on the Mariners is one worth guessing, since he was a non-roster invitee and maybe had a chance to win a job. But there's no reason to guess with someone like T-Williams who isn't on the 40-man for a guy like Fraley, who is on the 40-man and was projected to maybe be a starter. MLB.com has the 40-man roster, 26-man rosters and depth charts that they easily could use that would be more accurate than what is there currently.

launch roster was set while they were still in spring training, with all the NRI and minor Leaguers with a chance to make the opening day, they guess how it will fill out, then make an update with opening day rosters after the season starts.... cept this year there was no opening day, and no finality to those position battles

I hear what you're saying. I'm just saying that these were horrible estimations and they could have used MLB's own rosters and projections. There aren't THAT MANY possible surprises in Opening Day rosters. I am very connected to baseball in a way and there's no reason the rosters should be this out of whack.

When baseball is in full swing.

The majority of the people in this room doesn't even care about a proper 40 man roster, they just care about collecting cards of All-Stars for their DD team.
