Grinding is too much

Sounds like you are not a fan of baseball. Maybe try another sport

Who had today in the pool for when ssamy777 would post his next negative thread?

It’s just stale and boring to me at this point.
I grinded a lot for season 1 rewards and have a solid group of cards but I am unmotivated to grind this season 2 stuff.
I strictly only enjoy playing online win or lose. But now I feel forced to have to waste hours playing the cpu on rookie which is extremely boring because apparently in a few weeks these season 1 cards won’t be allowed online. At the end of the day a moment where you have to hit a home run is the same over and over again whether you change the pitcher and hitter. It’s repetitive and boring. Even the showdowns are stale. I used to read the captions but now it’s obviously just score a run or more runs then the cpu.
Why do I have to be forced to grind this [censored] if I don’t want to? Then I have to buy cards on the market which is a losing method because cards decline in price drastically.
Remember that time you "deleted" the game? Pepperidge farm remembers.

Yeah I was gonna say hasn't this guy deleted the game several times, but couldn't remember. Good thing Pepperidge farm is around for moments like these.

Here’s some free advice, put your controller down, turn the PlayStation/XBox off, put your shoes on and go outside and do something like mow your yard or play with your kids if you have any. It honestly doesn’t sound like you want to be playing the game with as much as you complain about this game.
-
You been crying about the game for like 2-3 weeks now. When normal people hate something as much as you seem to, they don't partake anymore. Maybe you should try being normal. Find something you enjoy besides complaining in the forums about something you dislike.

I guess the Xbox delete button doesn't work! Maybe you should put in a ticket to get the game removed since apparently you can't delete the game yourself.
-
OP…Absolutely NOBODY on this forum cares if you’re having fun. I’m sorry but it’s the truth. All you do is whine, Say you deleted the game, Then a week later are back on here whining. If you aren’t having fun then truly delete it, quit coming on the forum for the game you hate & move onto a new game - There are thousands of alternatives.

I honestly think he is trolling us, he posts these stupid threads but once he posts he’s a ghost and not heard from until the next negative post.
-
You people honestly don’t feel the grinding is too much? Guess I’m just gonna have to buy cards off the marketplace once season 1 cards aren’t viable online anymore.
To me, it’s too much at this point.

I remember the Titans, but that's neither here nor there
Just play other games! Grid Legends is a free PSN game right now that is cool. Grindy as well, but a fun game.

I will agree with the op that it's a chore to have to play the CPU all over again to get my S2 Phillies cards. I hate playing offline with a passion since back when Tiger Woods golf games used to make you level up offline before you could compete online. Had to play those stupid characters and do some stupid [censored]. At one point you could buy the max out which I used to do .
It is what it is. I do the March to October on HOF and if I don't get enough from that I do the mini seasons on rookie . The rest I get from online play.

You can’t buy the collection rewards off of the market champ, and those are some of the best cards.
And no, the grind isn’t too much. You just can’t expect to finish everything in a day.
-
Rookie mode used to be for grinding purposes only. Now, however, the AI Pitchers paint the black with seemingly 50mph Curveballs and AI Hitters take everything over an inch off the plate. It's still easy, but more annoying. I miss the Yetis!

no, go play the year you had to collect souvenirs or the year you had to get 300 innings with certain teams pitching staff to finish the missions for TA, etc.
-
This the kind of guy SDS listened to that got TA taken out of the game last year.

They are coping with how dogwater their favourite game has become. Someone complains and they all come running even though the game is to fun to put the controller down….. Schnauzerface posts the same thing the next day and all of a sudden it’s a well thought out complaint lmfao.
It’s so hard not to come back and see the cringe on here everyday. Way more appealing and entertaining than the same 8 moment variations for three years in a row.

No one is "forcing" you to grind anything. You can use those season 1 cards until you are no longer able and then use your Live Series cards the rest of the year..
Your complaining is "old and repetitive".
Just stop playing already.

To answer your question honestly. Yes, it is too much grinding for me. But I can only answer for myself.
My remedy? I don't grind for everything. I know I would burn out before I even got close. So, for example, I did the NL Central affinity until I had enough points to get the three Cardinals in the program. Any other affinity rewards I get along the way or after that is just a bonus.
People have this fear of missing out that makes them believe they are failing at the game if they don't max out the XP reward path, finish every program, do every collection, earn every card.
In the end there is not another sole on the planet that probably cares if you get it done. You are the one putting pressure on yourself. When all is said and done the game should be fun. If the grinding is not fun then stop trying to grind for everything.

Exactly what I am thinking with the season xp path too… are Loup and Franco best cards? No but they are Mets so they will be my first picks
