I agree for the most part. It’s nice to get them for the ls collection but, unless I’m grinding a TA mini season they never see the field.

When opening packs u look and see for a diamond card and if you get one, you profile it, it opens, and smoke everywhere to only get 85 or 87 card that walks out of the smoke. With all the 97, 99 cards that are easily accessible, the thrill of getting a diamond card in a pack has been taken from us. Sad days SDS isnt fun anymore. I have gotten 4 diamonds in packs. Havent used 1 of them becasue of the other 97 plus cards that you can get.
Then shut up and quit. Stop whining already move on to another game or go outside

I've enjoyed every diamond pull I've gotten... obviously pulling Darvish, Nen, and McCovey were more exciting but I love how they differentiate the different diamond pulls with Purple, Blue and Gold... I believe those are the three "lights" you get at the start of the animation.

Usually by May, the low diamond LS cards had already lost their luster. People would still use 90+ LS cards at this stage, but I don’t remember ever being ecstatic about an 85-89 LS diamond after about the first 3 weeks of the game cycle.

Yeah, pulling a low diamond is only exciting for the first few days when you have nothing. Now, I enjoy 5K stubs as much as the next person but yeah, it’s not exciting. But pulling a gatekeeper. That’s always fun.

It’s worth noting some people don’t life the game, so the cards you get excited about in the first 2 weeks are somebody’s second or third Diamond all year but after two months. We get it, you finished the collection in 5 days, most people don’t and the packs in this game are extremely boring all year. I’d be down for a open all at once and get it over with feature lol

Packs have been horrible for me. BIAH packs are just gold cards. Even Chase packs have been Gold cards or 85 diamonds. It seems far worse than last year.

Pulling non-gatekeeper live series diamonds hasn't been exciting in like 5 years. The only reason the gatekeepers are exciting is because of their stub value
Why do we call 90’s and above gatekeepers? A gatekeeper by its definition is an item that separates one level from another and never changes. No card is exempt from change in the live series collection. Aaron Judge can be a 90 one day and an 85 3 weeks later if he slumps for a month same goes for all the 90’s and above. I mean heck Sherzer was a 90 to begin the season and cost 150k when the game was released. He can be had for 10k now and I suspect even less after next weeks probable downgrade. I just think that term makes the poster look and sound silly.

Nah 90-94 is blue. 95 to at least 97 is a teal, blue green. I just pulled ohtani and he is definitely teal. Don’t remember what his overall is. So maybe 94 is teal also? I don’t know what 98 is. Maybe red I guess or teal.
