if theres over 10 games with Matt vasgerisan commentary and others, why not make a mssive commentary update with Matt, and guests like in NBA 2k ???
Why not massively update the current commentators with guests, minor league call ups getting their 1st games, players of the week and month etc, legends joining... more of a story of the game being played

Because they’d have to pay Matt Vasgersian. If they wanted to do that they could’ve just kept him.

Because they’d have to pay Matt Vasgersian. If they wanted to do that they could’ve just kept him.
why would they pay him if they have his voice for over 10 years of games ? wouldnt if be saved on a sds server or something..

it's pay to use,there would be royalties involved for the already recorded stuff.

The reasons the other 2 told you are why they’d have to pay him. You pointing out the massive recordings are why he was actually a good person to keep or why we should be patient with the new commentators. Until they also have 10+ years stored they’ll be stale and repetitive.
