Love this game… facing same 3 pitchers every game… have to face 102mph fastballs all game… really questioning what the heck I’m doing wasting any time playing this game. I know for a fact I’m never buying this game ever again but trying to enjoy this game but wow.. is this just not fun at all
I square up pitches and they go for outs…
My opponent gets bloop singles on very late swings…
Faced all bronze pitchers in ranked and somehow my opponent is dotting the corners all game and squared up pitches are going for outs.. meanwhile I’m using a 97 pitcher and can’t hit the zone when I’m literally trying to throw it in the zone
Very close to not wasting my time on this game anymore. It’s just pure frustration..
How can anybody enjoy a game like this?
I give up 3 bloop singles in a row off late swings then I square up pitches and they go for outs and I’m immediately frustrated and the game is not fun at all anymore.

This is the this post today that you made about online play. I'm thinking that this game isn't for you. Especially in line play if you're using a Switch.
And this is coming from someone that has made NUMEROUS negative remarks, in the past, about online play.

Turn cross play off, you are greatly disadvantaged against even ps4 and xb1 ,and for ps5 or xb x you have less chance than the snowball.
playing only against other switch users will probably be a better experience for you -

Bro it’s easy, if you don’t wanna face Bob Gibson, just quit. I do it all the time. I care about the quality of my game far more than I care about a win or loss. I quit a bunch of games and I’m still 5 or 6 games over 500.

Just be glad you weren't around in 21 when it was Cabrera and Degrom. You got some variety this year!
Or 20 when it was kluber or when it wasn't kluber starting it was kluber in relief.
Or 19 when it was Kershaw every game.
Be glad you got 3 different pitchers to face.

Gibson is a free card, so yes you’ll see him more, it’s always that way, Kluber, Kershaw and so on. The best free cards are going to show up more, I’m sure Lee Smith and Greg Soto get used out of the pen more then anyone.

Definitely I have been on both ends of this. It seems the game sometimes 'pre-ordains' the likely outcome by giving almost all the good fortune to one side. But next game you may well be on the other end of that. I guess this is intended to increase 'parity' between players, but the cream will always still rise to the top.

I agree.
Also, it is important to remember that even if the opponent seems to be getting all the breaks early on, it can pay to 'stick it out' since that whole comeback logic is still alive and well. You may very well come back at the end, if you remain determined and play it down to the last out! I will admit to not doing this as often as I should.

You will always see the pitchers that are cheap/free and have outlier ALOT…This is why I laughed when the devs said you will see alot more diversity in lineups this year…No you won’t, Not until SDS gets rid of the outlier quirk the same way Madden got rid of the Escape Artist quirk.
