Odds are what they are. They would be really stupid in manipulating the odds that are posted for multitude of reasons such as being illegal. I had a really lucky day in pulling multiple diamonds today including 90s Verlander and Trout.

I dunno. Pretty strange not hitting one diamond in that many packs. Last time I bought the game, 2021, I was hitting diamonds about every 30 packs. It was actually too much. There is a happy medium and I got to believe..SDS developers control the frequency to some degree.

i feel like i hit diamonds at a reasonable rate. just no high ones yet

'21 it rained diamonds.
'22 I didn't play much.
'23 absolute garbage, probably because they've given 99 cards away like candy so far. Best pull? Gary Carter from a wheel Silver Duo pack. I don't count base rounds from around the world or similar.

That's my theory as well. For whatever reason SDS has decided to load everyone up with 97+ Diamond players for minimal challenge investments. Then decreased the odds significantly of pulling diamonds in packs. I mean, they can do what they want to do. Their game. Whatever wacky strategy they decide on from year to year. But, does indeed "appear" that diamond pack pulls are almost non-existent in 2023.
I would much..much..prefer the 2015 strategy (my first season). Not only couldn't you pull diamonds..you had to grind for hours to get one from a Challenge. I mean, it was tough. But, it really made you appreciate the diamonds you had. Through the first month of the game's release I had one low Diamond..89 Joey Votto.
It was pretty rare to play any online games where an opponent had more than 3 or 4 diamonds.
Now every team is loaded with Diamonds. Just takes the fun element out of "Diamond Dynasty". Basically, everyone has diamonds coming out their ears w/o even trying. Whatever I guess.

I never buy packs in The Show. Not the standard packs or the flash sale packs - None of them. Biggest waste of stubs in the game.

Lol plenty of businesses think they are bullet proof until the first bullet hits somebody in their industry. Absolutely no reason they wouldn’t feel like they are the smartest people in the room and manipulate the odds.

Got a Chase pack out of a single standard pack. Pulled Tatis. Bankrolled a few Set 1 Cards.

People just hate math. With odds at 1:50 that you'll pull a low diamond (85-89) -- higher diamond odds have never been published, but they must be minuscule -- and those odds resetting every pack you open...
...pulling no diamonds out of 200+ packs is an unsurprising outcome.
Vegas was built and prospers on the "logic" of people who think like you do.

A little bored with the game -- LS done, Chipper done, RS done -- so I bought a 50 pack for the hell of it. Pulled Strider and a Chase pack. Both Chase pulls were diamonds, with 99 Tatis the second one.
Analysis: Stupid as HELL to buy a 50 bundle. I've bought others and gotten nothing. In spite of the results, buying the 50 pack was an idiot move. Had I pulled nothing, it would have served me right. THOSE ARE THE ODDS.

Packs always have been and always will be an incredibly poor investment!
