Thats correct, i did the showdown on my first attempt, it's really not that bad. I promise. It's that or miss out on the O'Neil Cruz amongst others.
All I want is O’Neil cruz lol so guess I am stuck trying it but man that is frustrating

NOTHING should be a requirement. They don’t live up to the “play how you want” mantra they love to mention. It’s more play how you want, as long as what you want is to be required to play how we ask, and what we ask is that you play every mode.
They can’t make fun content and haven’t been able to for years. They just get a 12 year old to throw [censored] at a wall call it a conquest map and give you 50% progress towards a card.
I can’t imagine how many room temp IQ brains were needed to make that Easter egg hunt.

Pitchforks are out. The people have spoken.
What bugs me is the WBC program is kind of a Forever one, but we're forced to beat it by beating Showdown. That's poorly thought out. -
I agree with the 5k repeatable mission and the idea of play how I want this year has definitely gone out the door

Showdown is worth 30 points.
That 5k PXP mission took me 6 conquest games, roughly 15 minutes a game, let’s say an hour and a half.
The showdown took about an hour.You would need to repeat the PXP mission 7.5 times, or, roughly 11.5 hours of gameplay to equal the program points from completing one showdown.
I’m doing the showdown.

I used it to beat the Charisma Showdown earlier today.

I have never played a showdown before doing the charisma one today aside from giving last years extreme one a go. I finished the charisma one in about 40 minutes tops. One of the more easier things I’ve done on this game so far. All add to it, I just got enough cards for my second set 1 collection pack (babe and chipper have been my choices so far) , and have over 2 million XP for the season with everything else done like TA, MM, WBC etc, all NMS so I do have a fair amount of experience going in even though I’ve never done 1.

These consistently happen every showdown to me:
-Every jump ball at the wall is caught
-Every play near the hole or gap is made
-Every outfielder has a 99 arm/accuracyI wouldn't mind doing showdowns if they'd turn down the legend defense to veteran, like it's supposed to be.

I do showdown too, but I’m offering it as an alternative, so if you don’t want to do showdown it takes longer. They did this with the extreme program last year, so it would make sense to do this with any program to have a PXP mission that’s repeatable, but if you do the showdown it’s quicker.

I just want to have the ability to get the players without doing Showdown as u said... if its take me longer so be it but I cannot get past 54 points in the Charisma program without Showdown to me thats a load of BS
