Conferences and Expansion

Has there ever really been an explanation as to why we cant re-organize the conferences? or for that matter add teams to the game at this point? I just feel like this is literally in EVERY sports sim, so why is it not in The Show? I would love to expand like NBA2K does it is so phenomenal, but I would settle for the ability to just reorganize the current conferences/teams, especially with bringing in create a team, and not necessarily lining up with the right region with the team I want to replace.

Ahhh okay, so the MLB says it wont allow for customization of the conferences, or expansion of teams for their simulation, Absolutely ridiculous haha, I figured there was the minds and talent with the studios and devs to do this...

Take any knowledge on here with a an extremely grain of salt. These guys used to think 2k paid all the tattoo artists for the tattoos on players in 2k lmfao.
