I admittedly don’t do the HR derby often but here and there I do just for a change of pace…just played one where one player was getting 2 home runs per every home run he hit?

Is that a cheat or a glitch?

He ended his first round with 39 homers and his longest was 529ft with Pete Alonso.

First off I use Babe Ruth (125 power) and I can barely hit the 490’s let alone over 500+ so what am I missing here?

Secondly, is the point system broken or was he glitching?

Lost to him in the finals we both tied at 22 but my guess is he beat me on distance?

    Anyways that was lame lol

HR derby is glitched AF. People start out -1, get 2 HR credit for every one they hit, foul balls magically turn 90 degrees to fair and count, it's sad. Yeah it's not a super popular mode but how hard is it to get this right. You hit a home run or you don't, one home run is one home run not to. I played one and made it to the finals, the guy I played against had over 30 each round. I counted pitches the next couple times I played, I never got over 31 in a round even with bonus time so how did he hit 30 some plus each round? But you don't spend money on this mode, so it won't get fixed anytime soon

I don’t know if it’s a glitch or a cheat. I’ve seen the two-fers a couple of times. Ironically enough I still beat one of them. The distance is nothing significant to what you say, if it was in coots field. I can still hit 490’s at any other stadium with trout, judge, Andy one with power above 90. Precision and timing of swings helps. I go to Denver with trout, I’m legit averaging 500ft home runs. Once I hit 50 in a row in two rounds. I don’t cheat at this, I’m just good. There’s plenty of others too. But the one swing for 2 HRs is a thing. You’re not crazy.

If you see their score increase by 2 or the path of the ball drastically changes from one side to the other, they are using zen cheats.

If you see the score as -1, 0, 1... or a person w/ a lower HR total ahead of you, that is a visual bug by SDS

I can still beat them. Unless they quit or get disconnected. But I generally still beat them legitimately. Always in a full lobby, never one on one.
