Lol, from being the top free agent pitcher on the market a few years ago to playing in Japan because no one wants him on their team. Couldn’t happen to a better guy.

imagine how awesome it would be to play in japan for a few years - what a great life - incredible country and people

This was in no way meant to be an insult to Japan, if that’s how it came across I apologize. I agree it would be great, Japan is on my bucket list of places to travel. However it is a mighty fall for Trevor Bauer who is a douche, I feel bad for his new Japanese teammates.

Not including the endorsement deals he will get while he pitches there it's not every day an MLB cy young winner goes to Japan

He's less likely to run into virtue signalling losers in Japan so he'll probably love his time there. I wish him the best.
