FYI for next generation searchers

PS5s are pretty much completely in stock, all versions, on Amazon and Walmart.com recently. No need to wait for alerts or anything. Just add to cart and buy. It's about time.

For real. On a side note, one of my biggest annoyances in these forums (and there are many) is when people keep referring to PS5 as "next gen". PS5 is current gen...people on PS4 are currently gaming in the past.

Not really, PS4 and the last XBox have more people playing them than the new ones still. The whole lack of supply at the beginning really screwed things up. PS5 is “next gen”.

I mean, that has literally never been how the game industry has used the terms but if that’s how you choose to define it that’s cool dude but just because you say it doesn’t make it fact.I mean, Sony already confirmed a PS6 release in 2027 so that would be the next gen....not the next next gen. We're literally in the current gen 2 and a half years after release. Its not my fault you haven't come to terms with gaming in the past.
Crack open the piggy bank and get with the times....dude.

Honestly dude, this is the dumbest thing to get upset about. If you want to call ps5 current gen that’s cool, they are just now starting to release games that aren’t on ps4 etc. so it’s basically right there but to get upset that people call it next gen is just dumb.

Just stopping by to say hello and check on a few people that are probably still banned from these forums for some God forsaken reason.
I plan on not spending much time here unless called upon or if something breaks that has a direct impact on my gameplay.
I was not happy with the direction of the boards last year due to [censored] poor moderation.
It's horribly unfortunate that SDS didn't give a hoot about the community of people that used to help each other while making jokes for levity.
Mass banning people over a Man Shot tweet that they made was the end for me. I'm too old to deal with nonsense and lack of accountability.
I'm always available for help if needed though. TBH, launch has gone smoothly, and I haven't received any Unhandled Server Exception yet.

I'm actually getting a PS5 on Thursday and can not be more excited. My favorite game is Dead Space so that was one of the reasons i finally decided to upgade.

Still too many bundles and not enough “basic” ones (sold out). I’ll wait on FFXVI reviews before I make the plunge, if it’s not great, it will be when XII Rebirth comes out. The Show sure doesn’t justify it on its own.

Brand New Xbox Series S was $240 from Microsoft Store this week. Not sure when the sale ends.
