I feel like this is the same exact game we get every year. Playing online is a toxic experience. Matchmaking either put you against some loser with no life and family or a kid. If you’re new to this game, it is a horrible experience. A lot of the game deals based more on luck. Could even be argued. This is just gambling for kids. I feel like this is a baseball game that just ripped off Fortnite except this is actually pay to win on some level. Either pay for the best cards or sink 150 hours of your life may be longer into this video game to be competitive. You have to have no life to be good at this game. I’m honestly not trying to be offensive. That’s the way it is.

As someone who is among the worst hitters online, I can promise you that cards will only make a minimal difference. I do feel that it is a sim, and that SDS AI determines the winners at times, but while I agree it is extremely toxic, and SDS has no intention of policing their online gaming you have to just either accept the losses and try to improve at YOUR speed and not worry.

I am playing the 2020 version as I am still able to play all options to grind for cards, but many cards do require me to play online. I had one game against a super cheesy player and lost, then just now played a 1000 level guy while I am a 400 level guy. Because I have slowly gotten better (I am no longer the player I was in the 90s) I was somehow able to somewhat keep in the game, losing 6-2.

However, I feel that until the OFFICIAL launch of 23, and not the tech test that you wait until it is revealed to be another fresh coat of paint and a roster update before purchasing it.

I wouldn’t care so much if they didn’t have an exclusive deal with MLB it won’t let anybody else make MLB games. Essentially have a monopoly set up. When you have no competition, you have no reason to make a balanced game or a good game. You just make a game that gets you the most money you can that’s what we got.

They also force you into certain place styles in order to be competitive you have to use the PCI setting you can’t set it to timing and just have fun like it’s an old arcade game. It feels like a Sim that’s not really realistic at all. It fails at what it’s trying to be. If this is supposed to be a very realistic baseball game, I don’t think it is. And can somebody explain to me what the hell conquest was trying to be?

They don't , anyone can make a baseball game. I think you're just on here to complain because you have a sorry life. Go play some other game and stop crying.

Almost everything you mentioned has nothing to do with the game. But the people playing it. The same people that play other games that are just as toxic if not more so online.

Xbox and Nintendo have always had the right to make their own game they call it first party rights, Xbox and Nintendo refused.

Ramone has said on streams that there nothing stopping them from doing what were doing.

I'm also terrible at hitting but I still enjoy playing online. The great thing about this game is that unless you're truly hopeless, lose enough and you'll eventually match up with someone you can beat. Only hardcore idiots who aren't good enough to make legend and can't accept it have a problem with online. For lousy players like me who just want to have competitive games and don't care about rewards, it's still a lot of fun.

I like that having a family equates to not having a life. More so than that, I enjoy the spectrum of player. They either have a family (no life) or a kid...which apparently warrants no commentary.
