It says play vs CPU: defeat Yankees on All Star. I just did that. Extended play 9 innnings. Never got the points or whatever you call them. I have 42 of 50 earned. That should have unlocked the card. Am I missing something? They really need to be more clear on things. I did the missions thinking that would unlock him. Nope. I don't play online, so that limits what I can do to unlock him. Really getting annoyed.

Did you choose "Play vs CPU" and are you sure the difficulty was set to All Star, because it defaults to Rookie.

Yes I selected that and made sure it was on All Star.
try backing out of DD sometimes it gives you your rewards when you back out and jump in again, if that doesn't work I'd say bug report

BTW, I worked with Chuck at support, he changed the "Play vs. CPU" achievement to "Repeatable" so this should work now if you play it again (was fixed at 8PM last night EDT).
Worked with both Granderson & Wood cards! -

Worked with both Granderson & Wood cards!I think they changed this on the missions for Eck, Pudge etc as well, to make the offline grinding missions repeatable after finishing Phase 1. This was a great change....thanks for pushing this.

Same thing happened to me. Won vs. CPU on All-Star, but did not get credit or the 8 program stars. I rebooted and still not there. I guess I'll try again.

I got Woods with no problems. I got Grandy after beating it a second time

Thanks for the info. I will try again. I got Woods with no problems either. I'll go beat the Yankees (on All-Star difficulty) again.
