Game Stop already has unlimited used copies flying onto their shelves!
Walmart can't even get people to shoplift the game.

This community is ridiculous. The whole point of a tech test is to provide feedback so they can fix issues before launch. Instead of being a first time poster whining about how the game plays IN BETA, maybe you should use your first time poster status to provide feedback on the game and let them fix it.

Instead of being a first time poster whining about how the game plays IN BETA, maybe you should use your first time poster status to provide feedback on the game and let them fix it.
Let's be honest. The game will be released and play great and then within 2 weeks you're playing a whole new game.
This stuff isn't a secret. The game has played awesome in the past and for some reason they go another direction.

yeah buddy it was terrific - Raes is the goat, also Miju - lots of guys used to be on here i think they are long past now - we all had a league too it was a whole thing back in the day

Remember CardinalBird5? he used to be the GOAT every year but pretty sure he vanished after 18 came out. You are right about Raes. He is a super good guy. Probably misunderstood by many but tops in my book!!!!!

Agreed cross-platform really isn't up to par 90% of my losses come from Nintendo users whereas playing against Xbox opponents which I'm on seems to be an even playing field I don't know if it's due to their platform is easier or if it has to do with the servers but definitely needs to be fixed it was this way last year and to be honest last year was the first year that I've played still looking forward to this year The bat sounds seem to be off at times the outfield seems to play a lot bigger than last year which is good and bad still got mixed reviews on that but I like the direction it's headed

"by many" - you mean some of these complete tools / nerds in this forum? i hear you completely and i do remember CardinalBird - that is years ago - right on - also maurice may be around not sure but a lot left in the past couple years
i uninstalled the tech test - absolute garbage - my usertag handle all over the screen (to protect for streaming i guess?!) - 0 stubs - can't even enter events with the team they gave me - so i'm to play BR then? just trash and ill just wait until it comes out - we know the tech test won't resemble the play once the year begins

Guess what? I’m disappointed too. I’ve played two games and the only runs I gave up were on fielding goofs. One misplayed in CF by Julio which rolled all the way to the wall, and one in RF misplayed by Teoscar Hernandez who was camped under a fly ball and yet stood there and watched the ball bounce off the base of the wall.
This stuff isn’t new, so we SHOULD be disappointed when it is still happening in new versions of the game.
Alright, bring on SDS sympathizer flames.

mate i think we are kinda all agreeing here - this tech test is trash - lets hope the best for the actual game on launch - we all have a FEELING of what's going to happen this year

For starters everyone’s complaining about the hitting being too late and stuff. Dudes, they are trying to make it realistic, not every ball should be hit. I couldnt tell you how frustrating it is to watch people hit pitches they shouldn’t of hit. Maybe it can get a few tweeks but no i think is fine.

There seems to be many interpretations of “realistic”.
IMO, this is the root of all the problems with this game. It will never be realistic, because it is a video game. What we should be going for is balanced gameplay that is fun.
I know many of you will tell me to play some other arcade game, hearing that, but think about it? Do you want a competitive, balanced, and fun baseball game, or do you want a finicky, difficult, inconsistent, frustrating game in the name of a “realistic simulation”?

The issue has always been if the game launches and people like it I.E hitting is good, the behind scenes stats they accumulate will make them to create a patch within the first week or two to dumb down the game. If you haven’t been around to see it then don’t deny it here.
