My most selfish request would be a 1998 Signature or Postseason Scott Brosius.
He is the only player where I would get the credit card out if necessary to have him on my team.
David Freese for me.

We need a Boby Abreu card (HRD card when he won the derby). I would love to see, not only Hornsby, but Ty Cobb back. We need left handed pitching, Why not Johan Santana and/or Steve Carlton.

Absolutely to all of them. Bobby Abreu would be a massively popular card. Wish I had thought of that hahaha. And yeah, those would be solid lefties. I’d love to see Lincecum, Zito, Pettite, and Jimmy Key would be fun.
-
Al Hrabosky, the Mad Hungarian would be fun and I would still like to see a "local favorite" type of player. One loved by fans of his team but perhaps not known so much nationwide.

Lincecum had 99 cards in both 16 & 17 and was pretty good if you could control him. Before the crazy attributes came out. Analog pitching reigned back then.
-
It's only been about four years since he was last in the game, but a more recent option for a new lefty would be CC Sabathia.
If there was ever a specific card category meant for a player, a 2008 Second Half Heroes Sabathia from his stint with the Brewers should be one of the greatest pitching cards of all-time.

Tim Lincecum would probably break the game lol, sort of like he did to the REAL game in 07 and 08 (or whatever years those were when he had consec Cy Young awards) because a 160lb body shouldn’t be able to hurl a baseball in the upper 90’s! He was a bit of a flash in the pan and lost the magic by the time he was 30, still yet I’d love to have him on my team any day! You know, I meticulously went through all of those generic pitching motions just praying that the developers of this great game may have snuck that mechanically perfect delivery of his in there, but I couldn’t find it. I was pleased to find Hideo Nomo’s Tornado windup in there, but quickly found out just how impatient I am using ANY pitcher with such an elaborate windup, and ended up picking my created players windup from the stretch.
David Freese must have the same special gene that MJ had in the DNA that when the pressure is at its highest, a gland unbeknownst to science within their bodies filters the blood and leaves ICE-WATER in their veins! Yes, give me David Freese any day!

Brady Anderson with outlier sideburns.
With the right tweaks I can see David Cone being a really frustrating pitcher to face in The Show. He had almost an endless supply of pitches in his repertoire.

Past few years my SS CAP was Miguel Tejada....nuff said

You would think signing Tejada wouldn't be too difficult either since he's apparently broke and could use the money.

Ahhh I hate to hear this about poor Miguel…well, I guess it must be true what they say…”the bigger you get, Tejada you fall!”

Any starting pitcher for the Pirates lol
Wow. Tough one there.
Without looking online, Doug Drabek is the only guy who comes to mind.
Bob Walk? John Candeleria?Ok, peeked online. The Yucks Top 10 All-time Starting Pitchers is a list containing not one player I've heard of.
Number 1 is a guy named Babe Adams who played before electricity was used.
'nuff said. -
Bob Veale for the Pirates
-
Steve Sax….we’ll, Rusty Greer is a friend so be fun to have him too
-
I think it would be cool if we could get Ichiro or Beltre back just some modern legends.

'nuff said.Don’t forget about the two Ricks! Rick Rhoden and the absolute Adonis ‘bod of Rick Reushel…who spent a few years there before heading out to SF where he reached infamy by being posterized (well, the baseball equivalent anyhow) by none other than Bo Jackson when he served him up a tape-measure lead off bomb to straight away CF in the 1989 All-Star Game.
I seriously don’t know who might win in a pose down between Rick Reuschel and Bartolo Colon but it definitely would be close!

They just posted one on Twitter.
2 GG, 4x AS.
