Maybe a While Sox Future Star flashback Michael Jordan?MJ a 99? He only played one MLB game and it was an exhibition game. If he was anyone else, he wouldn't have even had that opportunity

Also surprised Acuna oy has a 95. I know he didn't have a great year but he's still a massively popular player.
I was actually thinking the same thing. I actually used his HRD card more than any other card in that pack. Even without having a great year, he has had seasons that deserve the better card.
Events usually give cards until late. I remember one of the past games released a Gossage card in the beta test for the next game and it was an event reward when the test was over. -

Seeing guys like Andrus, Moustakas, Hosmer (to name a few) get juiced up 99's and some legit legends still either don't have one or the 99's are trash is the real head scratcher. Genuinely curious what SDS is thinking.

I would love Guidry and Jenkins but I can't believe my childhood hero, Rod Carew, didn't get one this year. I doubt we'll get any more this year. Over all the list was pretty good though.

Future Hall of Famer Eric Hosmer gets a 99. Rod Carew who only won 7 batting titles and topped out at .388 gets a 98. Seems right.
PSA- if you don't get sarcasm, this post is not for you :).
I'd like Guidry or Jenkins 99 too. Fun pitchers to use.

This thread is why I'm pretty disappointed in the forever program. Great opportunity to institute another positive change for this year and add some new cards to the forever program for those that have been along for the entire ride. I have very little desire to play since since that program came out with no new cards.

I have no idea why they did multiple 99s of guys. I really don’t understand why they didn’t/haven’t given better 99s of Gehrig and Mays. It’s kind of messed up Molitor and Mattingly didn’t get better cards. I get people’s frustration about Realmuto.
But I can’t believe they’ve disregarded relief pitchers so much: Smoltz, Jansen, Fingers, Miller, Smith, Nen. I find it odd so many guys at the same position have been left out from better cards.
And don’t get me started in some of the decisions of who they did give us 99s of. Just one example above being Andrus.

I like your picks. I am a fan of Guidry, but I am always disappointed by the cards he gets. I don’t know why they can make up pitches and pitch speeds for other pitchers, they should be able to make a usable Guidry card. Jenkins I usually do okay with, and of course, Carew’s cards are always fun to use, good swing. It’s a shame we missed out this year with some of these players so others who never got a 99 were able to get one.

Still JT Realmuto. I feel like I square up a lot of fly balls with him that turn into outs because his power is too low in the 70s. I really wish they would have given him a finest from this season or even just brought back his card from 19
