Why?

At this point I suggest you speak to a counselor. You have made it abundantly clear that you hate this game, but you seem incapable of separating yourself from something that causes you so much pain and frustration. It is not normal or healthy behavior to spend your free time doing something that you clearly loathe doing (and then spending even more leisure time complaining about it on the forums). It sounds like you have an unhealthy codependent relationship with this game. A professional can help you work through whatever issues you have that are causing you to willfully inflict constant pain upon yourself. And I’m only, like, 8% joking.
We don’t get a whole lot of time on this earth. There’s no point in spending your very, very limited free time doing something you clearly hate doing. If you like, I (and probably the rest of the forum) would be happy to recommend other games that you might actually enjoy, or perhaps books, TV, movies, or other leisure activities that could bring you genuine peace and happiness.

How does this post make it seem like I hate this game? It's a legit question. Why would you pick a stadium that has know issues and turn on rain; which makes it worse?

You post 3 or 4 times every day about how much you hate this game. When was the last time you said anything remotely positive (or even neutral) about this game? I recognize a small handful of names in this forum. Most are because they are funny and/or cool dudes. Then there are the whinebabies. The posters who i see post the most negative, inane garbage every time they log on. I will leave it up to you to decide which group you’re in.

This ^, you've made 5 topics in the last 21 hours, with maybe the Trout one being a neutral. I don't want to come off as condescending or a donkey, but do you actually like playing this game, or do you play it because that's just what you've always done? No shame in being the latter, I'm slowly moving at a snails pace from the first answer to the second myself

It varies. With it being the only game I own right now; it's this or nothing.
But I'm curious. Why does it matter how many posts someone makes in a given timeframe?
Not trying to be a [censored] by asking that question. But why would anyone care if someone made 1 post a day or multiple posts a day.
It just so happens that I have a lot of free time now; so I may post more than normal.

It's not just about the multiple posts, but the content within them, as in the example I used, 80% was complaints/gripes/negative feedback, and it's not an outlier, that is pretty much a typical day of posting for you.

I can understand that. While some may actually be complaints; so can be mistaken for complaints by the way they are worded.
Was this original post a complaint or just a question? It could be mistaken as a complaint; but it was actually a question as to why someone would knowingly pick a laggy stadium and add rain into the mix.
Or doesn't the rain make the game laggy for anyone else? Remember; I'm on a PS4. So the frame rate may be better on the PS5; but I don't know what it's actually like as I don't have a PS5.
The videos post could've also been mistaken for one or the other. That was just me showing that sometimes I'll match up with someone that's doing what I say someone is doing. Was what they were doing actually toxic? Depends on your definition of toxic. Some say yes. Some say no.
It was also posted with the intention of maybe catching the eye of one of the Mods or the CM in hopes that maybe someday SDS will find a way to deal with players that do such things.
And I'm not talking about banning or punishing them. Maybe someone implementing that you can't go into the bunt motion more than once until the pitch is thrown.

I took the original post as a complaint, even if you didn't intend for it to be. I made that assumption based on your history of creating threads, which as eatyum said are mostly complaints, but those complaints are usually about other players and your definition of exploits/toxicity, which you think SDS should adopt as their own definition so that they can implement fixes for them.
We all realize, even those of us who don't play online, that people bunt dance. They have been doing it for years so if SDS thought it was toxic then they would have addressed it before now. I just did a quick search on google and found people complaining about it back in 2016. So if they have done nothing to curb it in 6 years then my guess is that they don't see it as an issue. Annoying? Probably, but not an issue.

I’ve been playing the show online since like 2009 or 2010 and can confirm people were bunt dancing back then.

It's sucks it's the only game you are playing right now, I can see how it's frustrating you. I see a little of negative from you, and like others have said, is it worth it?

I don't understand choosing rain for the game anyway. Does it really do anything? I mean it's not like SDS cares about accurate game play. Guy wants to use a catcher at second base and the catcher never played second ever? No problem. Watch as he turns in 3 plays that would make Sandberg and Morgan jealous.
It's gotten to the point where user input is meaningless, combine that with them now basically making every player 100 power (including Ozzie Smith) that they may as well make next years game:
MLB The Show
Home Run Derby EditionWell, user input still does matter. But not as much if you're average like us. Killers will always smash.
I do agree about SDS backing themselves into a corner with the ridiculous ratings. Oz having those power numbers is something from The Onion. Some players have 2 different 99 cards. WTF. They need to rethink their rating system or next year will be even more ridiculous.
By the way, when 125/125 pitchers go up against 125/125 hitters, rng is MORE likely to happen, not less. Why BR is the best online mode.
