Is there any reason people assume it’s going to be Randy Johnson? I would rather it be one of the pitchers that doesn’t yet have a 99 but deserves one.

He’s pretty much the only card that will get people to play ranked seasons this late in the game.

Yes they do now but didn't when Randy pitched for them. They were Purple then.

Have they altered the appearance of different cards of the same player in the past?
It doesn't matter much other than the aesthetics, but when Randy Johnson threw his perfect game in 2004 he had long shed the legendary mullet and was rocking a much more age-appropriate short hairstyle.
Those little details are always appreciated.
