They just officially announced that a 98 Dibble Retro Finest will be a part of the big collection tomorrow, but he isn't the main event as expected.

They really just couldn't make him a 99 at this point?

Having all three of the Nasty Boys in the bullpen would be pretty cool. I hope they add the other two someday. Have the lead after 6, then close it out with Charlton, Myers, and Dibble! ...At least that is how the '90 WS Champion Reds did it.

Overall doesn't matter in the slightest for relievers. It's his BB per 9 holding him back . He will still have 125 for H/9 and K/9

I’ve been waiting for this card all year and pretty excited BUT…not for a collection reward. If he is the collection reward that’s an L in my opinion. I feel,like if they were going to use a reliever as a collection they could’ve saved Mariano,Chapman,Wagner or somebody. Glad we’re getting him but come on mannnn. Btw where’s the 99 Lee Smith?

Best card ever though in this game was the Postseason Beltran. And he is not in the game. You are right though, I read the same as you did.

Can someone explain why this card isn't released now? They brought back many Postseason flashbacks, including that Springer I loved, this season. I wasn't much into DD then, but now I want that Beltran!

I say Mantle as the "top" card....Dibble as a card you get en route to Mantle. And by the way gold Dibble at P5 is useable today if you use meter pitching and are good at it. 99 diamond Dibble will be nearly unhittable.
