Here is the bottom line, An ex player came out and said the Astros cheated in 2017, The players admitted to cheating. The Commissioner gave players immunity which should have never happened, All because he wanted it to go away fast. And they didn’t, if they were banned 80-90% of the league would’ve been banned.
80 to 90 of the league did not get caught cheating in the WS did they or at all,.

It’s a legit ring since they most likely played against teams who did similar. If it was just them sure it’s tainted, but it wasn’t.

Like I said go watch the game or games. I am a dodger fan but I will never say that the Dodgers would have won if the Astros did not cheat but We will never know. Even if the Astros did not cheat in the playoffs, They most likely would not have been in the playoffs without cheating

Probably, but that's not my point. And it's not even a relevant example you put because you have no idea if ALL the students were doing it besides you. I'm pointing out why "Everyone else is doing it" is a poor defense.
You can absolutely think the Astros getting singled out is BS, I can easily understand that point of view, but using it as a defense doesn't work.

2017 can live rent free in his head. Plenty of space there.
I never mentioned them cheating this year. Glad they won it since I don't like the phillies. But 2017 is different. Numbers don't lie. Neither did the investigation, since the players had immunity.
Numbers don't lie. Outside of Marwin, there was no improvement. It's been proven numerous times by numerous outlets that the numbers didn't improve their performance.
And there's been ZERO proof about buzzers. That's a Jomboy conspiracy theory. Altuve and Buzzers is Epstein and suicide.
Here is the bottom line, An ex player came out and said the Astros cheated in 2017, The players admitted to cheating. The Commissioner gave players immunity which should have never happened, All because he wanted it to go away fast. The players involved should have been banned from baseball just like the 1919 black sox and pete rose IMO.
And they didn’t, if they were banned 80-90% of the league would’ve been banned.
80 to 90 of the league did not get caught cheating in the WS did they or at all,.

Why can't you just admit the Astros cheated and got caught. What is so hard about accepting that fact.
Nobody and I mean nobody didn’t say they were dude lol. Only thing I questioned was actual video evidence of it in the postseason and the fact that other teams were doing the same thing of not close to what they were doing. I literally never denied they did it you goof.
You keep defending it like you don't you keep talking as if they did not. If you watch that last game that Darvish started in Hou they knew exactly what was being thrown, that is evidence enough so go watch those playoff games.
So tell me how did they do it against darvish I’ll wait. Was it the trash can? When they stopped after Farquar found out back in late September. Was it the buzzers? You know the buzzers that never existed? Please tell me how they cheated darvish

They did not get there Legitmately now did they. I do try and let it go but Astros fans got to keep defending it like it did not happened after the players said they cheated.
I never doubted the regular season but when there’s no actual postseason clips or evidence or anything after 5 years to say “look at this” it’s just not real. Regular season sure, there’s actual video evidence. Never said it didn’t happen, only questioned other teams and postseason evidence.

To be fair the everyone else argument keeps getting better with all these current and former players speaking out on it. Just weird no one wants to acknowledge it.
Let me ask you something, lets say a group was bullying someone and you joined in, somehow your mother found out and punished you, would you tell her "Well everyone else was doing it to!", do you think she would have accepted that as a good answer?
That’s quite literally a way different context than this one. Maybe if the entire classroom was cheating on the test would you do it too?
Ok fine we can use your test example. Lets say you were caught and your mom punished you for that, would she accept "Well everyone else was doing it to" as an answer?
If everyone else was doing it and you were the only student singled out wouldn't you think it’s absolutely bs?
Probably, but that's not my point. And it's not even a relevant example you put because you have no idea if ALL the students were doing it besides you. I'm pointing out why "Everyone else is doing it" is a poor defense.
You can absolutely think the Astros getting pointed out is BS, I can easily understand that point of view, but using it as a defense doesn't work.
I’m not defending their cheating, it’s on camera in the regular season to see. But to say it was unfair is bs because they learned it from another team by a former player in Beltran.
It does not matter who or where they learned it, they are grown [censored] men that know better or maybe they are children that did not know better. The fact is they did it and got caught then got off. Stop defending it and making excuses

Sure, but wouldn't you argue the players brought it on themselves? Obviously Astros fans didn't bring it on themselves and it's unfair to just go "hur dur your team cheated", But the players cheating that year, even if not in the postseason, only have themselves to blame for being viewed as a tainted playoff run
