Next years game really need to have slower pitch speeds

Im a casual player, I can’t bat or see the ball. The most boring games ever.. PCI is small and pitches are so fast. I can’t believe all my all star team is batting in the .100s. In any of the MLB the shows that I have played my average has never been this low. Consider casual players too. The super speeds in Ranked Seasons start at the Penant Race level. It is really dis couraging and games are so boring.

The refresh rate and response time in your tv is probably bad.

This year has slower pitch speeds than 2021 on my opinion. No need to slow them down further, that’s why they have different difficulties. (

Pitch speed slowed down drastically for me when PS5 finally got VRR. Like stated above, it could be the refresh rate giving you issues.

If you don't want to invest in a monitor, you can see if your TV has some sort of "Game Mode" or something similar that will increase the refresh rate. If it's an older TV and there is significant lag between the console and the TV, no amount of Game Mode or "Smoothing" or whatever is going to help. You can find some very good quality gaming monitors for very reasonable prices.

It's 150 bucks for a 27" monitor with an 8ms input lag. I know some people will insist you need a sub-4ms input lag, but honestly I don't think anyone can tell the difference between 4ms and 8ms.

mate i want these speeds INCREASED so they are a goddamn blur on the screen - make it feel like you are actually batting against Chapman minus the pain of getting hit by pitch

SDS will never find a happy medium that satisfies everyone. It's just the nature of the wide skill gap found in gamers.

Invest in a monitor, a better tv or some eye glasses. Speeds this year seem much slower than usual, especially on next gen. Watching some of these streamers, seems like every game they play is on rookie

I can agree pitch speeds are slowed way down this year. I’ve never been early this often on fastballs on any other years games
