Issues with stealing when on defense
-
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have an RTTS with a 2nd baseman, and the CPU steals on me every time. I try to rush to 2nd when the runner starts going, only for me to stop when the catcher throws. Isn't the catcher supposed to lead me to 2nd? Only once did I time it out right and I got to 2nd in time, but the runner was safe.
Anyone find success with this?

With playing second, I figure there is a better than 50% that the ball is going to the right. I tend to go to the right before the pitch, when there is a runner on first and no or one out, and that helps with steals. You will occasionally miss a hit ball to the left or a steal, but the numbers seem to be better.

Was just playing SS and noticed that as soon as he starts running, second base lights up. Easier to notice, so I've been keeping it in my periphery. I never noticed it as a 2B.
