    RE: No Power when hitting

"I'm playing on Legend with max pitch speeds and can hit homeruns....so its not the game, its you...get better guys."

Super humble. Not helpful, bro. Read the first guy's post. Good timing/PCI placement. More than one guy having problems. I used to play consistently on All-Star, got frustrated because everything was routine flyouts. My RTTS ballplayer has 105 Power. No reason a good situation shouldn't be out of the ballpark every time.

    RE: Rtts suggestion

yeah, way too much focus on online play and not enough into RTTS. why they connect your Archetype programs to your online account is beyond me, other than using it for DD. half the time it doesn't log your progress, so you can never progress as a player. although i've noticed this is more so the case with a two-way player or when you're switch between loadouts than when you focus on just one.

Issues with stealing when on defense

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have an RTTS with a 2nd baseman, and the CPU steals on me every time. I try to rush to 2nd when the runner starts going, only for me to stop when the catcher throws. Isn't the catcher supposed to lead me to 2nd? Only once did I time it out right and I got to 2nd in time, but the runner was safe.

    Anyone find success with this?

    Pulled from a perfect game!!!

CPU substitutions are ridiculous! I was 5 outs away from a perfect game when they pulled me out. We had a sizable lead. At least allow me to give up my own perfect game. For as much as they try to make "realistic" with hot and cold streaks, they get soooo much wrong and unrealistic. It wouldn't be hard to put in code to ignore energy levels when you have 0's across the board. Heck, even the commentators know when you're perfect.

    Does Power even matter?

My left fielder is in the Slugging Sparkplug archetype. My guy is up to 102 Power with equip/perks/training and is stuck at 12 HR into July. Meanwhile, I'm watching guys with ~60 Power hit homeruns over my head. I'm thinking anything in the middle of my reticle hit with good contact should be gone every time, but it almost always is a flyout - regular or power swing, doesn't matter. I have hit homeruns on worse contact before.

Am I missing something here? Seems to be rigged somehow.

    No Progress During Spring Training?

Has anyone else noticed they can't progress their Program in Spring Training?

Sometimes on the Post-game screens it says No Progress when you've reached a milestone and it resets. But I have been stuck at 23/24 PA so I know that's not the case.

It really makes Spring Training pointless if you can't progress anything but your base stats, especially when there are no training opportunities.

    RE: CPU pick offs

absolutely! i usually hold the left stick to the left until i'm actually ready to steal, because it's ridiculous how often they throw over.

i know they say never to take an extra lead-off, but sometimes i do just to get the pitcher to slide step and throw a bad pitch

RE: Is it just me or are RTTS slumps scripted?

I got so frustrated after being called up to the Majors in August and immediately slumping the rest of the season. I actually walked the difficulty all the way back to Beginner...and he still can't hit!!! Everything, even if it is in the middle of the reticle and good timing, hits right to another player. This, in my opinion, is game breaking. There isn't even a slider to adjust this. There is no way, in beginner where they only pitch the top 2 pitches all in the strike zone, why I shouldn't be able to hit homeruns or at least base hits EVERY time I am at bat on Beginner. If I was an actual beginner, I would stop playing immediately. I usually play on All-Star because it's the perfect blend of difficulty with success rate without slumping going 0-for-5 for 5 games in a row. And still, on Beginner, I haven't had much better success.
