Apparently you guys never had the pleasure of playing with Postseason Beltran. Probably the best card ever.

I haven’t as I wasn’t playing DD back then - thought it was just a kids game for my son 🤣. Definitely a card they need to bring back.

Think I am more excited about RF Kluber, but two great choices this time.

Both great but Seager is on another level for me. Kind of wish we got a different 99 version but not going to complain about getting my favorite card back (well, maybe 2nd favorite as that Finest Trea Turner was bananas last year…).

That postseason Cory Seager was my end game shortstop shortstop last year. Where do you get him?

He’s a Battle Royale reward. I agree that he can be end game. I usually use him at third or second thouh because of his speed. Even second base shows his flaw occasionally.

I’m loving Cano, but his days are numbered now.

Welp he comes the next 'this is my end game (enter random position)' until something more shiny comes along.

I can't wait for that moment:. "Make 3 errors in one game". With his zero accuracy, should be easy.

This man speaks the truth. The craziest thing about the card is you had to buy it from the Ticket Store. Back when that was still a thing.

I miss the Ticket Store. It'd work great for the collections now.

Just saw on Instagram that’s his postseason card is back. That card was easily one of my best hitters from years before. Pretty excited. I’ll probably play him at third since I hit parallel V with Brett and Riley. I’ve been trying a bunch of new cards there recently but nothing set in stone. I like Donaldson and Sheffield,Matthews and a few more but Seager though…..he might be the best choice for me.

Unpopular opinion: I refuse to use any position player with a slower speed than your average catcher.

You guys have a point. Dansby Swanson is still hitting over .400 for me so why do I need Seager at short?

I was mainly referring to baserunning but good call with the 3rd secondary.

Awe man, all my buddies are in the house. This Corey Seager was among my favorite cards last year..Trea and Tatis Finest were also pretty insane for shortstops.. but let us never forget that Larkin ripped and I'm guessing he shall rip again (though I haven't tested him yet). It'll be interesting to see what type of Trea Turner 99 we'll get and if he'll surpass the current crop of SS.

Speaking of shortstops, that Ernie Banks prime is a monster. And if Tatis' ringworm ever subsides.....hello? Hello?

People talk about cards being "cheat codes" or "glitchy", and for the most part it's all nonsense. Beltran in 17 on the other hand... He was so good that he could hit a homerun while still standing in the on deck circle. The man was a switch hitting menace to society, and I believe the real reason he is not currently in the game has nothing to do with rights. The house of cards that is this games programming would topple if he were to be reintroduced. They need to start over with a new build from the ground up to handle his swing and swagger.

I played someone this morning in Ranked Seasons who had Seager already. He hit 2 home runs in 2 at bats. Then I beaned him, for my pleasure. Then next time I tried to get him out and he grounded out. Seager didn't get another at bat because the game ended when I fell behind by 10 runs in the 7th inning!
