CPU pitching inconsistent???

Is it just me are is the cpu pitching the most inconsistent it's ever been. They will dot first pitch, throw 2 of the most non competitive pitches I've ever seen then dot a slider at the top of the zone in the corner then another non competitive pitch, then bean me on 3-2. I've never seen it this bad!

Oh - it's awful this year. I simply just cannot play conquest anymore.

I feel like every hitter and pitcher needs their own unique slider set like tendencies in 2K in order to balance the game and make it challenging

Ya, I swing at terrible pitches out of frustration.
Anyone else notice that the higher the card, the less strikes you see?
Vs a Diamond Starter I'll sit and walk all day.
What is really annoying is a Common who throws 8 straight balls and then paints the corners perfectly like Maddux. -
Yeah, instead of it being hard to get a strike on higher difficulties its now all of them. Tough to think like a hitter now too. Amazing how many times the pitching patterns are just bizarre. Pitcher has thrown 3 straight curve balls and its his 3rd pitch, gotta be something else this time….nope, another curve ball. Even if you hit it to the moon, it leaves you feeling “wtf”.

Sure but you should never get a pitchers 3rd off speed pitch 4-5 times in a row. Thats just dumb and makes the game feel kinda arcade game-like.

Yeah, I would say CPU pitching has been horrendous lately. Trying to cruise through conquest and the pitches are all over the place. Makes me wonder if when they had that last update to fix CPU pitching in moments that it messed it up in conquest or something. Who knows? But it has been pretty bad lately especially.
