They have a runner on 1B and it starts out Pick-off Attempt 1-> Pick-off Attempt 2 -> Pitch Out -> Pick-off Attempt 3 and then 1st pitch of the at bat.
Yes. And they do that even with 2 outs lol. I'm like dude, you have 2 away, just worry about the guy at the plate and the man on 1st cannot score!

Shockingly, I got the Clemente Moments done in about 30 minutes total earlier, but the 6TB one was a doozy.

I completed all the Moments for the new program pretty easily but some of those monthly moments sucked. i finished the Aug Moments last night. Took longer than it should or. Pitching Moments for me are the easiest. That Stowers moment was the worst, to get it done I set the PCI at the very bottom of the zone and once I did that it was gone. That moment probably took me a good 20 minutes or longer.

I have to say though and it may just be me but i actually find that CPU pitching has gotten worse since the update. Playing through the new moments yesterday and 70% of the pitches were balls way out of the zone or aimed in on the hands to get the player to pop up.
That's pretty much how it's been all year. The CPU pitcher throws balls way out of the zone and then they'll somehow dot the corner, or at least the black, when they need a strike.

Saberhagen in the feature program. It doesn't say it, but it's 3 Ks in 1 inning. All it says is 3K and no hits.
Ugh...any ball hit fair or a foul out ruins the inning.

That one probably took me the longest because the first hitter for the Twins (Arraz?) is leading the AL in hitting. Once I struck him out the rest was easy.

I know this thread is about 2022 moments, but I am still traumatized from one back in 2020 -- 2 XBH and a SB with Jackie. Cannot even tell you how many times I got 2 doubles and would end up with a runner ahead of me. Or I would end up on 2nd and somehow the CPU insisted it was a single + advance on an error. So, so, so many nightmare-ish scenarios in that one. I must have tried and failed 200 times before I finally got it. I'm still angry about it, but -- thanks to this thread -- I am going to let it go. I will never complain about it again.

Not at the moment, but for some reason a couple months back, htting a home run with Luis Barerra in the bottom of the ninth against Raisel Iglasias at the Collesium felt like it took three hours. I don't think it helped that every single time you got out Sciambi would say "aNd ThAtS a No HiTtEr!!!" for some reason.

I got that one but it definitely highlighted one of my little pet peeves with the game. Hitting a ball between 3rd and SS. The 3B does a layout dive but does not catch the ball and it bounces away from his glove.
But he is so good that he pops up from his stomach to gt back on his feet, retrieves the ball and still throws out a runner with 99 speed? Yeah, I don't buy that for an instant.

3 hits woth Matt Veirling? I can't even get one. Toronto is a team of gold gloves aparently, fiving catches, robbed home runs, 99 speed and he walks out of home plate. This moment is infuriating
Finally got it on the 18th try but these 3 hit moments are the worst

It would help if Veirling wouldn't look at the ball when it's hit and just RUN, i have 90 speed players that can beat out infield hits but not this guy with 99 speed.

It does seem like the three hit moments, when you may only get 4 at bats are more "Don't get unlucky" moments.

I did extremely well with Vierling. Saw that his contact was better than his power, so I used regular swing and got three doubles on my second try. Curious how many of you used power swing here.
The worst moment I’ve ever seen was that daily Roberto Clemente HR mission with his sup par 88 card vs a pitcher who pitches from his bad side of power in a deep ball park. 95 tries. Nothing was worse than that for me. This was last year
And no, I skipped the Daniel Nava moments when they first introduced moments. I was not doing that garbage
