RF Rivera and Utley as new WS rewards?

I figured it was likely Rivera or Gossage based on legendary closer ( Mariano confirmed) and only legendary 2nd basemen left I can think of is Utley.
Should be 2 good cards.

I didn’t recognize the name Duncan at all, so i checked Twitter and it looks like it’s Mariano Rivera. Is Duncan a nickname for Mo that I’ve never heard? I feel lost.

Duncan confirmed? I think you got the wrong Mariano! The one confirmed is Mariano Rivera as in the CP not the 2B/SS Mariano Duncan.

No, Mariano Duncan is a whole other player and in a different position! They played around the same time in the late 90s with Duncan (1985-97) and Mariano (1995-2013). They were teammates in the 95 and 96 seasons.

Ok i get the Rivera refrence now, but Legendary Ms baseman beign Utley is still confusing me. Utley never played for the Mariners. Am i missing something in this refrence or beign really stupid. My head hurts.

Nope. I was at the baseball fields in the heat coaching all day and it obviously fried my brain. My failure to check my awful typing in an iPhone lead to that one. It’s corrected. Hint just says legendary 2nd basemen.

So you’re telling me you don’t think Mariano Duncan 99 RF this year? Guess I have to wait another year. I still have hopes for Jack Clark. I need someone who practices his swing while playing in the OF.

Slap a Future Stars on it and the 99 is easily justified.

That picture on Twitter pretty much confirms it's Utley. Silhouette is red and that is his stance
