Salad's got nuttin' on our Sutton

The NL West looks really fun! Very, very happy about Gwynn! Always one of my favorite cards every year. Finley has a great swing, so I'm excited for that. I hope we're still getting a juiced Luis Gonzalez at some point. I like Todd Helton but it's hard to find room for him at 1B. Maybe I can sneak him in when Frank Thomas needs to take a mental health day. Same deal goes for McCovey, who I also really like but almost never have room for.
Don Sutton was an unexpected choice (at least for me). I was hoping for Duke, but kinda expecting Gagne, Gibson, or perhaps even Piazza. But I'm not going to complain about Sutton! He had a solid 90 OVR, so I expect good things from the 99. I hate the Dodgers, though, so I'll only use that card as a last resort.
Gonna be a busy weekend!

I feel like this division really could've used a reliever. So many top tier options too with Gagne/Hoffman/Goose.

Sutton was the only pick I made so I am going to strut around like a peacock due to my 100% soothsayer like behavior. Lifetime Dodgers fan, but will only be happy when Steve Sax finally gets included in DD.

I forgot about Hoffman*! His card is usually pretty good. And Goose is almost always one of my top 2 relievers (along with Wagner), so I can't wait for his 99. But either of those dudes would have had to come at the expense of Gwynn, so I am kinda torn. I think it was MLB 21 (or was it 20?) that I didn't end up getting Goose for one reason or another. So definitely looking forward to getting him as soon as possible. Going through Goose withdrawals.
*I hate to admit it, but I also forgot about Dre.
