Takashi Billy Wagner

I have my boss pack. I think I will choose Wagner, but I was wondering if he still plays as well as his previous year’s 99 cards. The Gehrig seems like it’s not his real 99.
Any input on Wagner is appreciated.

I don’t think you can make a bad choice in this pack.

All depends on your wants/needs, but there are currently only TWO bullpen cards that are 99 overall and Wagner is one of them. Plus, there usually aren't a ton of dominant lefty relievers throughout the year which gives him even more value.
Chipper and Gehrig are great cards and if you are fans of those guys then go ahead. The only thing to consider with them is that their positions are already pretty saturated with other comparable cards as opposed to Wagner who will be a staple in every bullpen until the end of the game cycle most likely.

I love the Chipper card and Gehrig mashes always. But the Wagner card is lights out.

I don’t care about overall ratings. Especially with pitchers. Wagner is always my best lefty in the bullpen for me. I don’t need Chipper, I am a fan of Gehrig though. I guess I can buy one, but that can’t be Gehrig’s only 99

I picked Wagner but bought the other two. So far he has been great. Very similar to last year's card which was a million stub card. Been using Chapman and Wagner back to back and people still have trouble catching up. Chapman has the nastier stuff but Wagner seems to be able to dot better.
