99 overall players to every team. All time greats. This is the program i've been looking froward to all year. Time to get the really great cards out. Like 99 Fielder who was a beast last year for me.

Me too! Bad news is you get to pick 3 players and have to buy 27.

I think the Padres are getting Gwynn. I'm ready for a 99 Gwynn who slaps and steals.

Alright everyone....let's get some predictions for these 30.

Starting with the Cardinals I have a feeling we're getting a Bob Gibson like TA4 last year. Hope they make it a good card.

Any clue to the Yankees? Mantle? Rivera? Too soon for the real Lou Gehrig.

I wish you played MLBTS19. His card was great!
Did you use the 1987 Topps card (forget what kind of card they made it)?

I'd say either Reggie Jackson, Mariano or Posada.

You don't think this is the end game Gehrig that's boss right now? I know there's lots of gray area this year so I'm not saying you're wrong but it seems like a solid card.

Curious what the Legends & Flashbacks market is going to do. They already teased the next big collection reward for 9/16 which is the same day this program drops. Adding 30 new cards into the mix would usually result in the market taking a dip, but you would expect the demand for some of these series to only increase until then.

I would love if they reverted back to the older TA format where you could unlock all 30 bosses as opposed to having to buy a good amount off the market.

It’s a good card, but it is much lower in hitting than his 19 and 20SS, and his 21 Milestone. It would be kind of disrespectful if this was his best card. Do you think Jeff Bagwell was better than Gehrig? He is usually a top 3 or 4 first baseman: Him, Foxx, Pujols, and Thomas. There are a bunch now that are equal or better. Oh.. If you use Babe at first, his 99 is usually near perfect hitting attributes. I wonder when he is coming.
The Mays card is good too, but it isn’t when you compare it to any other 99 Mays cards.

Good point, I looked at it again and it's very similar overall to Bags and lower than his card last year.

It's really odd the way they're releasing 99s that aren't end game. Really super weird.

I hope they don’t just leave him like that. I didn’t pick a player from the boss pack. I leaning toward Wagner, but I always liked Gehrig’s cards. If Gehrig does get a better card, then I won’t use this one. I am still waiting to see Pujols and Foxx get a 99. They are always fun to use. I play Foxx at 1st, not as a catcher.

60 new cards, there will 1 henchman for each team also, though we will get all 30 as we did in the other franchise programs.i also think they ll keep it as 18/30 bosses as rewards.

I'm hoping to pull out a page from last year and let us get all of them but the PXP requirements would be specific to each division. Really make it a grind but make it worth it. I feel like these short promos are nice but they are stressful with the limited time and I tend to grind the first parts of them super fast.

Exactly correct. It's a pretty good card but nowhere as good as previous 99's....and Junior geez last year's 99 was leaps and bounds better. I don't understand releasing a 98 Mantle with his lousy contact against righties. He hit his most HR's ever in 1961.
