Title and [censored]. So close to completing the McCut collection and ran into the Ol 2nd half heros. I just started cracking up when I saw 92 Paul Molitor going for 66,000 stubs. I can almost set a whole lineup of 2022 All Stars for that price. It blows my mind how expensive most of those cards are. I'm sure there's a good reason for the prices and I'm just not seeing it. Anyway I'm just bitching about it no big deal

At this stage of the game, you’re not paying for the card. You’re paying for the vouchers for cutch and Brett. No different than dropping 200K on LS scherzer you’ll never use so you can get Randy

Mini seasons missions, Collection vouchers, not being able to acquire them anymore since they were in past programs

Its a combination. Brett and McCutchen are reason #1. Reasons 2 and 3 are that they are only available in event Rewind Packs(at least alot of them are), and event rewards are going to progressively get more expensive because you only get 1 choice and more and more cards keep getting added to the pack each event. I am also pretty confident most of the people that play events stop at the last player anymore and don't go for the 2nd rewind pack

I saw the same thing, so I just ended up starting to collect cards for the Jackie Robinson collection instead.

Yep so glad the faces cards came down from their 50k. That was the one I skipped for Brett as I didn’t get the game until that program was over and needed about 20 of them. Now I can grab all those and skip the 10 all stars I need for cutch.

Just skip the 2nd half. But also flipping cards is so easy right now. I got 1 card jve bought easily 200 times and I'm making 4-8k a flip. I'm no money spent and I got l the collections, Jackie, all the finest but the extreme rewards which I'm working on. Put orders in for all ur stubs play a game, then put up the sell orders and play a game. It's simple. And if u got the app it's easy and quick.

Problem is those event cards keep getting better and better so when your choose a player from a rewind pack you not taking a Moliter your going to take a guy from the last event you did not play. Same thing is happening with RS rewards. So it is not so much the 2nd half players, it it more what program they were the reward for. So while those cards are not the best their supply is drying up because no one is taking them from the rewind packs.

Yeah I've completed every event so I'm doing my part as I just take the most expensive one from the rewind packs, but I'm only getting 1 rewind pack per event these days instead of the 3 I got early on. Should have held on to all the Hoffmans, Cisheks, and Cruz cards I sold for 16-17k earlier on

Yeah I remember getting those guys for under 15k when they were released in their event or the next rewind pack. I guess I thought the whole time they would just being going down in prices but that supply and demand rule is a pain sometimes.

The henchmen from the earlier programs is where you and SDS will make a mint, limiting supply and eliminating the chance’s of acquiring them again will shoot their prices through the roof come the final collection. SDS will probably make millions just off stub sales in that month alone when the final collection is released.
