I’m really torn I have Napoli at catcher but would love to try this card- but I’m also pretty close to completing the Bret collection- so I don’t really want to waste stubs. I’m sitting at 413k right now
Any suggestions?

Buy five 50 pack bundles and pull Ohtani and Trout two times each. Use your profit to rent Alvarez and if you don't like him sell him.

I like Napoli on paper more and he’s been good for me though not power wise. I just pulled the card. It’s end of the year so f it and try ppl you’re interested in

You just pulled the new Alvy card?
I like Napoli too and I mistakenly collected him while doing the Brett collection smh-
I might as well just rent Alvy see if him I like him and if not sell him back- I’m just visiting my partners for a few days so I’m away from my ps5 until Thursday, won’t be able to actually try the card until then

I like how it feels like end of the year for some which I totally get. But there is still 4 more months of new content if last year is any indication so we're just above halfway. But I know a lot of people bounce after the postseason.

I bought him and Ernie Banks today and they’re both really good, Alvarez has a smooth swing and first 3 at bats I hit two bombs and a single. Is he better than Napoli? Defensively yes easily. As far as hitting it depends if you like his swing like someone above said. I love his swing probably even more than Napoli but Napoli stats are unreal. As for Ernie he went 4 for 4 with 2 bombs. I think he might be the best SS in the game now.

Did you use the cards online or offline? What difficulty? I pulled Alvarez today.

Alvarez looks insane but I also said that about Bench and we all know about him. So like all cards it comes down to feel and his swing. I do wish he had pop time but if Alvarez's bat works than I will look past his good but not great defense. Definitely worth a try especially as his cost will continue to drop.

I want this Francisco... kinda wanna pull him but if I have to buy him from the market I will... I still need to use his Prospects card but I guess I probably won't do that until I try to grind Big Dog program.
