I'm not ashamed to have done a lot of DB-ing myself out of this one as I got 2 in the first game then forgot how to hit!

Resetting your console before it saves progress. So basically if your doing a multiple game moment and you reset after you realize your not going to achieve your goal it will not save that progress and you can try that game over when you power back up. It's just a cheese method to get through the extreme moments without starting all over.

I'm not trying to do it but would appreciate some clarity so that I can understand what's happening if it happens to me. So, please give me the basic answer as to what Dashboarding is, sir.
It's basically shutting down the game right before something has the chance to count. In this game two examples are in online you would power off during a home run and it won't count. Offline you would power off before your moment completes so you get a free chance to try it again. In the extreme moment the griffey moment is 8 HR in 8 games... so in any of those 8 trys you power off before it completes, you start that game over next time you enter the moment.
